I went to this establishment shortly after it opened and was profoundly unimpressed ..... So much so that I don't remember what I had. Â But one meal is not a reputation, hell, who hasn't made a mistake? Â So I gave it another try .... What a waste of time, money, and my hunger.
It sounded great. Â I LOVE lamb and I LOVE curry, so what could be better than lamb curry taco in a warm soft tortilla??? Â In this case sawdust and ground glass might have been. Â
The tortilla was really very nice, but the rest? Â Was there curry in that sauce?? Â Could have fooled me. Â And the lamb was overlooked and tasteless. Â It came with a side of rice (pilaf, sort of). Â The bartender asked if I liked it and I said "the rice was good". Â Can't imagine why I would go back and waste my money. Â Just stay away.
Pleasant surprise! Never noticed it before (usually don't take the north bridge) but decided to stop in. Had the Mahi Fish Tacos. Â VERY nice and tasty! My wife had a salad with blackened Mahi on top. Nice size pieces of fish and very good overall. Â The only thing keeping it from five stars is the price. i did think it was a bit pricey. That said, we will be back, though maybe not at lunch time.
Review Source:I stopped here with some girl friends on our way home from a beach day for a beer. One of my friends ranted and raved about how awesome this place was. They offer  25 cent draft beers every time the drawbridge raises.
I have to say I was not terribly impressed, probably because my friend over-glorified it in her recommendations.
It's a little seafood shack with various sandwiches and seafood entrees. No water views, very small parking - literally maybe 8 spaces. The decor is quaint and Caribbean style, lots of vibrant colors. I would consider coming back for lunch, but their dinner entrees were way too pricey, upwards of $20.
Apparently one of the reasons my friend likes this place so much is they are dog friendly.
