I kept passing this by on my to and fro and finally decided to stop. Glad I did.
Before I even ordered I was greeted by a very friendly man leaning half way out the window when I pulled up. He either wanted to get a good long eye full of this sexy man here......or he just wanted to make sure I felt welcome and ensure he got my order correct. I know which one I believe.
I ordered the combo with hot sausage, ribs, and pulled pork. Also got the beans and the slaw. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and by that I mean I picked up the bone and everything fell off. It was very tender but maybe a bit dry at times. I would probably cut back the cooking time a bit. The pulled pork was smoky and good with large pulled pieces, not that shredded looking stuff. The sausage had great flavor and we all know how much I love a good sausage. The sausage was a bit tough though which I thought was weird. Great flavor though. The sauce is good and they gave me quite a bit but I still ran out. The beans were smokey goodness with bits of beef in it yum (yes I did just say yum so I'm a 12 year old girl so what). The coleslaw was the part that surprised me the most, it is not tangy nor is it over powering It is creamy and light tasting with a bit of pepper for show. I thought it was ok but then I kept finding myself going back for another bite. I put it in my fridge and went back the next morning and it was still a slow steady good flavor. It is much better than I thought when I first tried it.
The pita with the meal threw me at first because it is something new to me. No I have had a pita before I am just accustomed to my Greek being hairy, in debt, and standing behind me going "it will be ok" not mixing with my barbecue. But the flavor and the textures really complimented each other and I think I prefer it now. The pita is  more substantial than the standard soaked white bread we get and it made for a good bottom to pile meats and sauce on.
I really enjoyed this and yes I will be back. they have a 10% off coupon if you check in on Yelp.....I didn't find that until after I paid.
Were told the meat was pulled pork shoulder. It tasted more like Beef Chuck roast and looked like it too. Slaw was ok and beans were runny and tasted ok. Price was reasonable. No sliced brisket, just pulled meat. No fried food either. Husband liked the flavor of the meat, but I thought it was burnt and had little flavor
