A Hole in the Wall Pub

A Hole in the Wall Pub is the side bar attached to Raglan Road and next to Cooke's of Dublin.  It's one of our favorite places to grab a beer at Downtown Disney.  As always, highly recommend sitting at the bar and talking to the people around.  All of the UK tourists seem to end up here and they're fun to chat with.  Be sure to hit their happy hour and if you order food from Cooke's, they'll deliver it to you at the pub.  One of the few places on Disney property you can find the very delicious Orange Blossom Pilsner that's made with orange blossom honey.  Perfect on a really hot day.

I was in town on business, my hotel was close by and I didn't have a car, so I hesitantly ventured in to the "Irish" bar.  I was impressed with their tap selection (having a Kilkenny), and settled in for a late dinner.  The bartender was friendly and handled the large crowd at the outdoor bar decently (most were in seats in the patio area).  You do have to get up and order from the bar to get your drink since there wasn't table service.  You can order food from the attached Raglan's, and they'll bring it out to you at your table.  I was in a burger mood, and they brought it out.  It didn't look overly impressive, but it tasted pretty good.  Not the BEST EVER, but not horrible at all.  I left satiated and happy (the beer didn't hurt that feeling).  I wouldn't avoid it in the future.
