Honduras Kitchen

I went to Honduras Kitchen with my husband and  friend. As a Honduran native I wanted to visit this place since it has a lot of popularity among Honduran people. I was satisfied with the food, but I am giving 3 stars because the service was so so and the food took a long time to be serve.

   Yes, the waiter told us that the food was going be take at least 30 minutes, but at least I was expecting her to bring some appetizers while we waited. The quality of food is good and I heard they bring very good punta bands to play on Saturday nights. Over all the restaurant and the food is good, but just one little advice improve the costumer service.

     Fui a Cocina Honduras con mi marido y un amigo. Como nativa de Honduras  quería visitar este lugar ya que tiene mucha popularidad entre los hondureños. Quedé satisfecha con la comida, pero le puse 3 estrellas porque el servicio era regular y la comida tomó mucho tiempo para servir.

    La camarera nos aviso que la comida hiba a tardar 30 minutos, pero al menos yo esperaba que trajera algunos aperitivos mientras esperábamos. La calidad de la comida es buena y he oído que traen muy buenos grupos de punta los Sabados por la noche.. En general, el restaurante y la comida son buenos, pero sólo les aconsejo que mejoren su servicio al cliente.

Service was so slooowww.  Why does it take 10 minutes to get 4 glasses of filter water.  There were only 2 tables aside from ours.  Even though they got rave reviews for Arroz con Pollo, but honestly, it was just ok.  Maybe I don't have Honduran palate.  This is only my second time having Honduran cuisine. Beef soup- beef tripe, beef feet, yucca, plaintain with a hint of coconut milk is ok. My biggest gripe is the slow service.  

Small parking lot and it didn't seem like there were any street parking.

love the baleadas here! simple yet delicious-soft, buttery tortilla with beans and crema spread (portions can be more generous, but still delicious).

heard that weekdays are $1 a baleada!

they have a separate party room with live karaoke.

located in a plaza with a laundromat..so parking can be difficult.
