This bar, located in downtown Billings, has a lot of great options for a small menu. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, and the pizzas were huge. Our server Tahnee was the most efficient waitress I've ever had. She was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely go back here for the pizza.
Review Source:Best Sports Bar in the world! Â Largest Big Screen..plus 20 giant flat screens!!!
They have ice cold beer from the Montana Brewing Company right next door which is a real treat! Â
The crazy secret about Hooligan's is that they have the best burgers in town. Â Certified Angus Beef! Â Swish...I like their famous cheese rings and of course...Waffle Fries!
A must eat in Billings!!!
They seem to have som great happy hour specials, good deals on drinks. They do Karioke probably many days out of the week (I know they do it on Monday, which is when I was there) I wish I was paying attention to when the kitchen closed, but I didn't even pay attention to whether or not they served food. I went to visit a long time friend who I hadn't seen in a while so a quiet Monday night in this place was nice. They do have a dance floor but on a slow Monday night I saw no one dancing. I did however notice that on the schedule for the weekend they had a DJ so it looks like if you want to dance Friday or Saturday night is when you want to go. They have a bunch of TVs, I didn't count, but off the top of my head I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 high resolution, large screen TVs.
Review Source:Good for a sports bar. Â One person in our group had Elvis Burger with friend egg and peanut butter. Â I had the fish and chips and I really liked them. Â (They are sold by weight, not by number of pieces. Â The waitress helped me to pick the right size for me.) We were there during a game, it was packed and loud, and you could see any game you wanted to. Â The very large screen TV was the only one I've seen in town. Â We munched on the free peanuts while waiting for our food.
Review Source:I give it 5 stars because you have get the best burger in town: The Bat Out of Hell with tots. The cheese ring on the burger is most epic, fried on one side then slapped on the burger until it pours over every side. I love cheese.
The beers are okay and depending on what your server's okay with, you can buy a pint or a pitcher over at the Montana Brew Pub and bring it to Hooligans.
It's a sports bar with TVs everywhere and probably close to the largest screen in town for big games. We watched World Cup and NFL playoffs here.
I both like Hooligans and don't. Â Love that they have so many TVS, they play hockey, and the staff actually knows how to run the equipment. Â The peanuts are great on the table, but I think the peanuts are there to keep you occupied until you get SERVICE from the wait staff. Â We are usually in earlier, before 9pm, to watch Hockey and have dinner. Â They offer pizza and alot of burgers, which is really not on my thing. Â They only offer so-so salad combos.
Review Source:This place is alright. I hate the atmosphere; it's just full of kids who just turned 21 trying to impress each other. Kind of a bro bar. They do have free peanuts which is awesome and they also play hockey on the tvs. They make really good long islands as well, they do not use a mix. Service is usually pretty good, but again I just don't like the crowd that comes here.
Review Source:This place is under the same ownership as Montana Brewing Company, and typically the service is pretty good (like MBC). Â However I feel sorry for anyone that thinks this is a full-fledged sports bar like the advertisements for this place would have you believe " Best Damn sports bar in Billings period" . Please...
Case in point: Go to this place on a Saturday to watch the Montana Grizzlies play. Great right? The crowd seems to be a good football crowd and everyone is intently watching the game. As soon as the game ends all the TVs continue with various other national football coverage; including a #1 vs #7 in the nation game. The bartender mutes all the TVs and puts some nasty hip hop crap music on from the jukebox. Mind you this is at approximately 3pm local time. Â This is not a one-time thing either; this is how this place rolls.
From the website you'd assume you could go hang here and watch your favorite game. Hah. Good luck getting anything out of your game when this place turns into a wannabe jersey shore crowd type place after about 9-10pm (it's pretty much a locally known thing this place turns into d-bag central around those hours). However, if you really want to score an STD laden companion this is probably your place after those hours.
On the plus side, they do have MBC beers and some of the food choices here, like the pizza and the boneless wings are pretty good.
