This is a solid Hooters! My food was pretty good, standard Hooters wings...not THAT great but certainly satisfying. Beer selection is limited, but $3.50 Blue Moons are a fantastic deal.
Hooters girl was nice, but nothing to write home about. The service was attentive and friendly, but had a certain stripper-vibe to it... I wonder why ;)
Our first meal in Augusta was at a Hooters. Hell why not. Between me and my hubby we shared 20 piece chicken wings/legs with garlic hot sauce and tater tots. I thought there was way to much sauce on the chicken wings and legs. Kind of made me lose my appetite but ended up nibbling on the tater tots which was pretty good and crunchy. Next time I'll order the tater tots with ranch rather than sour cream. Also had a Yuengling to wash down the sauce. Service was very attentive, my hubby's 1 year old nephew was a huge hit with the hooters chick.
Review Source:Overall, the service is very lacking. Â The staff is nice, but they'll easily forget about you in a busy night, and leave you with an empty glass or waiting forever just to pay the bill.
Pros
- I thought the food was actually good, I enjoyed everything I order here thus far.
- Workers are hot for the most part, it's what you expect when you come here of course.
- Good specials, depending on when you go, you find some good deals.
Cone
- As I said earlier, service can be quite slow, I've been here 5 times, and 3 of those times my waitress or bartender was terrible at keeping my glass full, as the meal ended I found it hard to for my waitress to give me the bill I felt like walking out I waited so long.
- Again, bad service, my bartender/waitress must have went on break or something without anyone to cover, I went 20+ minutes without any service. Â I wanted to get another beer, but by the time she came back all I wanted to do was leave and go somewhere else.
- Almost forgot to mention, I was sitting near where some management type friends were sitting once. Â After they had a bunch to drink they obviously harassed some employees (a little too touchy if you ask me), and the MOD or whatever let it slide.
It's Hooters... not so great food... Lot's of boobs, most of whom are gawking at the 'talent'...
The place is expensive for what you get... Emily said it best.... Disgusta, GA is just no place to be... OK well Emily & the Dirt Band...
The wings were kinda dry but the Buffalo Shrimp were good...
I enjoyed the new "more than a mouthful Mondays" at lunch at the Augusta Hooters. Â This is a cheeseburger with fries for $5.99, and it is a chainwide promotion in the US locations.
Burger was cooked to my liking, and the provolone cheese was wonderfully gooey melted on top.
My Hooters Girl was pleasant and provide just the right amount of conversation during my visit.
This was my first "Hooters" experience, and not one that I care to repeat anytime soon. Â We started off by ordering some beers (poor selection). Â We then order our food, which actually did not take too long to get to the table. Â The problem was, they brought everything out at once. Â My appetizer actually came out after everything else was on the table. Â

Now our waitress was kind enough to make sure we left the restaurant chuckling. Â When she brought the check to my father she failed to give him a pen. Â He proceeded to ask if he should sign in blood. Â She then picked up the knife and started cutting at his hand (playfully), but then walked away. Â Apparently, the hot test is the only one you take to get a job there. Â I will admit the food was good. Â However, it was not $100 for two people good.
