Typical Hooters with overpriced, bad food and drinks. Â Went in stone cold sober one time with some friends to get a drink at the bar and socialize. Â We were all refused service because the bartender thought we were drunk due to the fact that we were having a good time and being what I would call boisterous. Â Not everyone needs tons of alcohol to have a good time Hooters bartender.
Review Source:We were in La cross for a long weekend, we ate at Hooters 3 times, we had bad service 2 out of the 3 times we were there (are orders were missed up and it was a long Wait). Other than that the food was really good. The buffalo shrimp app is great, and if you go after 9:00 PM. apps are half price.
Review Source:I'm not a Hooters regular even though I'm from Dallas, so I can't say how Hooters is across the board. Â However, for "around here" in Wisconsin, it was pretty good food.
I had the philly cheese steak sandwich with a side of cole slaw, and I sampled some of the curly fries. Â It was all above average and for a price that's very reasonable.
The waitresses were, how shall we say, of generally good Hooters quality. Â If you've been to Hooters in the south, then you know that's a compliment considering this location.
As the previous poster mentioned, the building and setting is great. Â Parking might be a challenge during busy times since it appears there's only street parking, but a little walk is a good thing.
Best "dinner out" food I've had in this part of Wisconsin. Â Read what you will of that.
Love Hooters.
This particular Hooters is in a lovely old building from 1892, with sandblasted brick walls and high ceilings. Â
I had some wings, and they were decent.
If your wife is a jealous old bitty, don't bring her along with you to this place: the waitresses are redonkulously young, friendly and good-looking midwestern girls.
