second time eating here for lunch and both times have been exceptional.  the prices are very reasonable and the portions are fantastic.  i've only gone during lunch so the crowd was minimal but the wait staff (generally just the owner and one or two other girls) were attentive at all times.  definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a new spot for lunch.  i'm anxious to come back and try the craft brews and happy hour.

I visited Hurley's tonight and will definitely be headed back. The atmosphere was laid back with a bartender who really knows her beers. I ate the wings which were very tasty, ordering the dry wings which had a unique and great flavor. I felt right at home as I watched baseball and the Stanley Cup finals.

Mark and the gang can do up some of the best bar chow in town.

    1) I have no idea what they are putting in those burgers but I get a craving every couple of days or so. They are big, fat, juicy, spiced with some love and stuffed in between Texas Toast. I usually get mine medium with bacon, spinach, onions and tomatoes. Ridiculous! The steak fries are golden brown crispy on the outside and never soggy.
    2) If you are a chili fan...you have to try "The day old chili"
    3) Steak fries w/bacon, steak and mozzarella cheese. I always wondered what A1 was good for and this is it. I'm not even a huge cheese fan, but they brown it for me like the cheese on pizza crust...mmmmm.
I think Tuesday is their half off appetizer days...so you can try 2&3 together. Better bring a friend.

Good selection of craft beers...Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Arrrrghh!

Love this place.  It was Friday night and all i wanted was a few beers and some bar food.  Based on the reviews, we decided to hit it up.  Happy hour ended at 8 so we took full advantage of that.  Our menu was decided when we looked up on the wall an realized wings were $5.  We decided to get the bubba wing, a twist on a mustard sauce,  and the dry rub garlic parm.  My hubby kept saying "these are the best wings ever" so you know we'll be back.  We were also intrigued by the mashed potato bites. also delish.  They also offer trivia, which has a special place in my heart.  There's no doubt we'll be coming back.

A definite improvement from the old bar that was in this location.  The server was awesome, the beer selection was pretty good.

Food was a bit better than average.  My Papa Mexicano Potato was extremely bland - basically a baked potato with a few pieces of chorizo sausage buried in the center.  My wife's wrap was quite tasty (confirmed by my swiping the leftovers for lunch the next day).  The queso and chips app was quite good and came with a huge amount of queso.

The place does seem to be suffering a bit of an identity crisis.  They have added some normal dining tables to the front, which seems to signal a shift towards being an actual restaurant/pub.  However the OTB scene and cast of barflies signals pure bar.  I guess time will tell if the place can pull of a balance or shift back to the old ways of being a pure bar.

Prices were very reasonable.  Approx $30 for 2 margaritas, 1 beer, an app, 1 wrap, and 1 potato boat.

Hurleys is about a 3.5 star location, but I am rounding up to support a non-chain venue in the Innsbrook/Short Pump area.

I just want to buy enough baked potato bowls to roll around in. This is relatively simple food, executed with acceptable precision, with some solid flavors. The service is very good, the beer selection is small but pleasant, and the Significant Other can comfortably consume sports here.

In specific, their chili is notable as it is rather untraditional. It contains both beans and carrots, coming very close in actual fact to using a mirepoix base. For the price, it's some of the better beef-base bean-carrying "chili" I've had in the area.

Like the updated décor and friendlier wait staff.  BBQ sandwich and slaw was tasty.  I had to ask for salt n pepa was my only gripe.   I would recommend this establishment.

This place is a great addition to the West End bar scene. First of all- they have happy hour until 8 PM! Second, they have a great and diverse menu to satisfy every dietary need possible, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc! This used to be Finn McCools, but now it's Hurley's. They added about 20 TVs and lightened up the place. They added an outside bar area with a garage door. This place is going to be a great spot for the upcoming football season.

I had the Papa Mexicano Potato and it was delicious! Seriously, if you try this place, you will not be disappointed.

My new favorite place when I travel to Richmond on business. I came in yesterday based on the Yelp reviews. I wanted good craft beer and good food. They have both. The food is better than any bar food that I have had in a long time. I had the fish n' chips. They were really good. Great service and friendly people.

I went back a second time the next night. That sealed the deal. The owner remembered me from the night before and the cute waitress remembered my name. I love this place.

Significant improvement over the previous tenant in this storefront! Brighter interior, better food, friendly service. Winner all around.

Some recommendations: when you see "bacon infused maple syrup" as a component of a dish, don't shrink from it. It's used with a very light hand, adding significant character to the dishes where it appears without in any way overwhelming the overall flavor. And go hungry - it's big food.
