Getting to it is a little awkward as it is a little set back from the road, but my boyfriend and I always have a positive experience when we go. There are often coupons in the newspaper for a free entree, so look out for those.

I work for a small local business who provided some service for this restaurant . Even though it was the 1st time we did business for this place we still gave him 30 days to pay . Well that was back on 2/18/11 & now its 6/28/11 and our bill is STILL NOT PAID . When we stop there or call on the phone for our $$ we are just given the run around . Please do not eat here or please do not provide any service whatsoever for this guy without gettin cash up front . The General Manager HANI is a real piece of work - BEWARE !!!

I have been to this location many times since it opened.  The ownership has turned over a couple of times, and I am not a fan of the current management.  The last few times we've come, they have not brought all our food at once.  The waitress has consistently forgotten something and then, despite mentioning something is missing, has not returned with the forgotten food until we have already finished the rest of the meal.  The waitresses are quite rude, they don't care much for customer service(actually seem annoyed that you might want a refill on a drink) and the manager/owner who often runs the register is quite surly.  For a general pancake house experience, food-wise, it's no different than any of the other chain places.  The food is ok...nothing special.  Not the best in the world, but not the worst either.  However, I would note - the quality does generally go down depending on how busy it is.  We went today and were the only other people in there besides one other couple - the food was fine - in fact, the pancakes were awesome.  But, when we've gone in with the morning rush, the breakfast food can be pretty bad- not fully cooked, doesn't usually look fresh, and can be exceedingly greasy.  I've been to much better IHOP establishments...especially during busy hours.  So, I'd say go to this one when it's dead inside...you'll get much better food and the waitresses are a bit nicer, and the irritable owner usually isn't there.

Ok I'm not going to be brutal like the other reviewers but they are right.  Skip this place if you can.  The service is not up to par, and honestly the disspointing thing is they are out of everything you want.  Specialty coffee...out of it...specialty breakfast items....out of it...crayons for the kids to use...out of it!!!  I mean if you are out of the flippin' coffee or food dont hand out menus with it showing the items.  The 2 stars is for some food is quite good, and the free dinner coupon helps but there are other better restraurants in the area (Harners!! and even Denny's).

    HORRIBLE experience.

My wife and I felt like some breakfast-y food for dinner so we decided on IHOP since it is close by where we live. The service was TERRIBLE.

First, we had to wait several minutes by the hostess table before anyone even showed up to seat us.

Then, once we were seated, it took ages for our waitress to show up.

When our waitress finally showed up to take our drink orders, my wife ordered a water and the waitress turned to me and asked "and water for you too?"

I politely replied, "no thank you, I would like an iced tea please". The waitress then ran off without a reply.

After waiting a full 10 minutes, our drinks finally showed up. As the waitress was putting down our drinks we got ready to order our food since this is normally how things go at restaurants, but much to our surprise she ran off without saying a word to us.

Another 10 minutes pass, and by now our drinks are empty. The waitress finally shows up again to take our food order. I order a big steak omelet and my wife orders pumpkin pancakes. The waitress runs off without refilling our drinks.

This is where it gets bad...

We sit for a full 30 minutes without seeing our waitress. Others tables have their food delivered while we wait - even tables that sat after us.

Finally, a manager stops by our table and asks "Have you ordered?" This should be fairly obvious since we were sitting there with no menus, but we politely replied "yes, about a half hour ago". The manager then replies "alright" and walks away.

Ten minutes later, the manager comes back and tells us "the food is taking so long because you ordered the steak omelet and it takes this long for us to cook it".

Ok, so now it is my fault that my food is late. How DARE I order the steak omelet!

Another waitress (not ours - she is missing in action) finally brings out my omelet, and a plate of hashed browns and eggs for my wife. No pancakes for either of us despite the fact that my meal comes with pancakes and my wife ordered pancakes specifically (the hashed browns and eggs are the side dishes)!

We call over our waitress to ask about the missing pancakes. She says "oh yeah - the pancakes are coming soon" and runs off.

Fifteen minutes pass - by now my omelet is finished, and my wife has finished her hashed browns and eggs. We are sitting at our table with empty drinks staring at empty plates.

FINALLY, our waitress reappears with a plate that has three pancakes on them - the ones that were supposed to be on the side with me omelet. My wife asks "and what about the pumpkin pancakes? Keep in mind these were the MAIN part of her meal.

Astonishingly, our waitress doesn't say anything and just runs off muttering under her breath!

Finally, another waitress shows up and asks what is wrong. We explain the situation and she brings my wife's pancakes in a to-go box since we were already finished eating by this time.

When we go up to pay, the manager is at the register and asks "how was everything". We explained why we were dissatisfied, giving all the examples I mentioned in this review.

    Her response?

"It has been like this all day - the menu is new so I'm having a rough day today. I've been here since this morning. Also, I'm sick - so it's hard for me to keep an eye on everything, and your waitress has a sprained wrist so she shouldn't even be out on the floor really".

    WHAT?!?!?

We were still charged full price for our meal, and now we find out that apparently the manager of this restaurant is so ill she can barely keep an eye on the staff yet she is there handling food...

Needless to say, we won't be eating here again.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT EAT HERE. My fiance and I ate here, and we found a roach on our table. We trapped it with one of the coffee mugs, and told the waiter. The waiter continued to lift up the mug, and sweep away the roach (onto the floor) to our surprise. They did not offer to do anything about our meal (comp us, discount, whatever). I will never eat here again, and I urge other people to not take a chance. If it happened to us, just think how often that happens.
