Eddie's Pizza & Pub

This is my husband's favorite local pizza place.  We love all of the food, but especially  prefer the baked mushrooms and thin crust pizza.  The environment is casual and relaxed.  The employees are usually really friendly but you don't see much of them on a busy night.  This place is usually hopping with couples, friends out drinking, and parents treating their hyper (oops I mean lovely) children to pizza.  We won't go anywhere else for pizza and 9 out of 10 times the food is perfect.  We have ordered from them twice and received over cooked/ slightly burnt pizza.  It hasn't become a habit so I'm willing to over look that.

I've been here a few times so now I decide to write a review.  This place has such a great neighborhood atmosphere to it.  It's a pizza & pub style restaurant that is very suitable for children.  This place is small, and on Friday/Saturday/game nights (Not pro, but local HS sports teams), this place can get crowded and loud.  The decor makes this a great neighborhood establishment, with all the local Fox Valley area HS sports teams represented from Aurora up to Geneva and in between. You order at the bar, don't expect someone to take your order once you grab a seat, so order at the bar, and they'll deliver the food to your table.  All eating utensiles and plates are in a corner on a designated table, so grab all you need after you order, again, the staff there don't.  And it's not expected, it's just on the menu when you order.  Their pizza is in odd sizes, so 11-13-15 inch is the S-M-L.  Their pizza's are delicious, we ordered the Three of a Kind cheese with half sausage / mushroom last time and it was delicious.  The Mushroom bake and Spinach Pie made excellent appetizer choices, and the bar is fully stocked the beer, wine and liquor for your drinking pleasure.  Once you are done eating and clean up your mess, go to the bar and pay.  The prices are very very reasonable, and this is just a nice place to go and enjoy and good time.

This place has some of the best pizza in the area.  Good thin crust pizza with great sauce  and awesome specialty pizzas.  Lots of toppings and the price is lower than most chain pizza places in Aurora.  My wife and I drive 30 mins for this pizza.  Well worth it.
