Indigo Joe's was one of the first places to open with the revitalization of Wildwood and it is one of our favorite places to go.
Their menu has a lot to choose from. Â Their happy hour prices are very nice as well. Â This is one of the best places to watch a game at...or at least 30 games as they have an entire wall devoted to only tvs.
The staff is very friendly. Â If you plan on going when there's a game on, arrive early as it fills up fast.
First, I'll start with this: Â I ate at I.J.'s a couple of years ago and was unimpressed with the food. Â
On a lark, I returned to Indigo Joe's last month, and had a very good experience -- my parents and my children enjoyed their food. Â Since I have a tendency to sneak tastes from my family, I tried several dishes and was pleasantly surprised. Â My son's kids meal was fine, my parents' fish and chips were very good, and I loved the mahi wrap.
Beer was cold, service was attentive and inviting. Â
I couldn't believe it was the same place. Â So, I tried it again last night, with my wife and kids -- again, a very good experience. Â French dip was great, my wife's Baja burger was delicious, and my mahi wrap was again perfect. Â We also tried the SW chicken chili and enjoyed it.
We ordered their cheese and fruit plate as an app. and ended up bringing half home, it was so large. Â
We received attentive, thoughtful service. Â We will return.
went with a group of friends to watch the March Madness games and the Blues play hockey. Â there were 7 of us and they only had 2 tops left. Â they only had 2 high top tables with more that 2 chairs in their bar. Â Doesn't seem like enough for larger groups. Â Anyway, I had the BBQ chicken salad which was very good. Â Probably the only complaint about the salad was that they gave me the dressing on the side and there was way too much but of course, I used it all and that is not good for me. Â but very tasty.
They also have good happy hour prices. Â $5 for appetizers, $12.50 buckets, $7.50 pitchers.
