Indigo Joe's was one of the first places to open with the revitalization of Wildwood and it is one of our favorite places to go.

Their menu has a lot to choose from. Their happy hour prices are very nice as well. This is one of the best places to watch a game at...or at least 30 games as they have an entire wall devoted to only tvs.

The staff is very friendly. If you plan on going when there's a game on, arrive early as it fills up fast.

First, I'll start with this: I ate at I.J.'s a couple of years ago and was unimpressed with the food.

On a lark, I returned to Indigo Joe's last month, and had a very good experience -- my parents and my children enjoyed their food. Since I have a tendency to sneak tastes from my family, I tried several dishes and was pleasantly surprised. My son's kids meal was fine, my parents' fish and chips were very good, and I loved the mahi wrap.

Beer was cold, service was attentive and inviting.

I couldn't believe it was the same place. So, I tried it again last night, with my wife and kids -- again, a very good experience. French dip was great, my wife's Baja burger was delicious, and my mahi wrap was again perfect. We also tried the SW chicken chili and enjoyed it.

We ordered their cheese and fruit plate as an app. and ended up bringing half home, it was so large.

We received attentive, thoughtful service. We will return.

went with a group of friends to watch the March Madness games and the Blues play hockey. there were 7 of us and they only had 2 tops left. they only had 2 high top tables with more that 2 chairs in their bar. Doesn't seem like enough for larger groups. Anyway, I had the BBQ chicken salad which was very good. Probably the only complaint about the salad was that they gave me the dressing on the side and there was way too much but of course, I used it all and that is not good for me. but very tasty.
They also have good happy hour prices. $5 for appetizers, $12.50 buckets, $7.50 pitchers.

Average.
Typical bar food, no menu surprises here.

We ordered the beer battered mushrooms, the Parmesan chicken sandwich and a steak sandwich. Fries were hot but not exactly crispy (once the initial heat wore off they were soggy). The bar stools were upholstered and swiveled and were quite comfortable. Lots of TVs around to watch whatever game is playing. Looking around we saw several big tables (8 plus people) all having a roaring good time. It really added to the atmosphere.

The food here is very average and the service is okay. It's actually a lot better if you're in a large group, but two people there for a quick dinner can wind up waiting quite a while. I've had a lot of different things on their menu but the only one I ever thought was better than okay was their Southwest chicken salad (with beans, corn, avocado and fritos), but it seems odd that a basic salad should be the best thing I've ever tried there.

If you're just going here for beer & nachos while you watch the game, you won't be disappointed. They have plenty of TVs and the beer selection is nice. We were there for trivia once too, and that was really fun, but I typically won't go back here unless we have to catch a quick bite before a movie across the street.

Indigo Joe's was on our list for our fun and food adventure and they didn't let us down!

We ordered

Fried Pickles...It was so good color me surprised
Hot Wings....They were a little soggy, if they had just cooked them a little longer it would have been that much better
Chili Chicken Soup...It was pretty tasty but some how the waitress didn't hear us say 2 soups so we ordered
Vodka and Cranberry...it was a very weak well drink
Black and Bleu Salad...amazing but I suggest don't get bleu cheese dressing because it comes with real bleu cheese
Cobb Salad...it was delious and fresh and the same tip as the Black and Bleu salad

If we were ever back in the area I would come back and this time I would love to sit down and enjoy the food.

Worst cocktail server ever. She said she hated her job and by the end of the evening she had us convinced . When we were over charged and we questioned her she said that's what the computer said. We finally got so frustrated we left. She said sorry your having a bad day. She followed us to the parking lot where the kitchen staff was smoking and they got involved and started to harass us. We will never return. Maybe if the had a friendly staff the owners would have to depend on discount coupons and specials. Never again

Unless you are a sports bar person and live nearby in Wildwood or have a coupon that needs to be used, there is no reason to go here. Ms T and I went for lunch to use our coupon. It was only for $10 and she bought it to use with a friend and it did not seem to ever work out.

We started off badly when the lemon wedge in Ms T's iced tea was spoiled and had to ask for a new glass. The food is pretty mediocre, so I guess if you just like to have a beer and watch the game with a group in a bar it would be OK. Our service was fine.

I had a Smoked Turkey Club on sourdough with lettuce tomato and guacamole. It was OK after I removed the red onions and spread out the ball of what was probably Boar's Head smoked turkey crumbles. It's nothing to go back for. Ms T had the Bird on the Barbie sandwich; grilled chicken breast with barbecue sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. This was a little better, but the grilled chicken was dried out and pretty much unseasoned although it did have some grill flavor. The barbecue sauce saved it.

She had sweet potato fries which I liked because they were waffle cut and crisped up pretty well. On the other hand, and here is where it gets nasty, being a slaw guy, I had what is without question, the single worst coleslaw experience in my life. Ms T agreed and when I tried to taste it again, she asked why I was trying to eat it. The dressing was apparently buttermilk and perhaps some sour cream. It tasted like something unmentionable. There was no salt. The cabbage was limp, meaning it was old and the flavor made you think the dressing had spoiled. Even allowing for divergence of taste preferences, it is really hard to imagine that anyone would eat this and like it. I left almost all of it.

So, my friend and I finally got close to St. Louis and were starving. We stumbled upon Indigo Joe's and decided, why not? The parking lot was packed, and we figured it must have been the town's "hot spot". Boy, were we wrong!

I decided on a glass of wine. Why not?!? I was on a mini-vacation! A huge mistake!! It was warm and cheap. For $8 a glass, I would have rather had a glass of okay wine on a flight! As for the food??!?? My salad consisted of mainly iceberg. Who serves that anymore?!? I had a tough time getting through my lunch and my friend's salad consisted of a whole lot of fried nastiness.

Besides the food being icky, the bar was warm and humid. Who wants to eat and drink when they are slightly perspiring?!? I know I don't!

Fantastic variety and food! Good atomsphere to watch a game or go to with family. It is one of my dad's fave place to eat so we go few times a year and never had a bad experience. Sometimes it can be kind of slow service, but I've worked in food industry before and when you go during a busy time then it happens.

My husband and I love this place. It has a good atmosphere and we love their food. The fried pickles are great! Their veggie burger and Philly Steak Sandwich are SO GOOD. Everytime I go I get their raspberry margarita!

I have been a few times to this place. Great atmosphere to watch the game with a decent beer selection. Food is average on its best day. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Nice sports bar.

We have eaten here a few times.
Sometimes it is four stars other times it is three.

The review on this night came in about a three.

We had the beer bartered onion rings. Just the right amount of breading. Very tasty but slightly on the greasy side.

My blue cheese burger was very tasty, but overcooked per my order. My partner Santa Fe Chicken sandwich was good but not great.

If you like the taste of char, then this is the place for you. The food was terrible, service was ok. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Food was good enough, good quality but definitely a sports bar feel (well, that's what it is really). I had the rueben (okay), taco salad (pretty good) and cheesecake (by Hank's?). Loud and service could have been better but I think the waiter was a bit overloaded this visit. Could still be a good place to meet up if in Wildwood.

Stick with the staple items and you should be good. Tonight I had the Chili Cheese Fries and a salad. The cheese fries were great and the salad was good. I like this place. It has good atmosphere, a ton of TVs and trivia. There's not a lot of options for Buzztime trivia locally so to me, it makes the visit worth it. Can also go out nearby and come get some drinks after. I'll be back for sure.

Always looking for decent places to eat that aren't far from home, I picked up an Indigo Joe's http://restaurant.com certificate last Labor Day weekend during their massive sale. Realizing I had less than 2 months to use all 6 of them that I hadn't touched, we decided to head that way on a Friday night. Our trip had its ups and downs.

Drinks - Hubby got the beer special and was pleased. I got both a Chamborita and a Mai Tai (both decent).

Appetizer - Fried calamari. The breading was good, but the calamari was overcooked/chewy. Worst I've had.

Dinner - I got their chicken club (bacon and avocado...yum), and hubby got the Black and Bleu burger. We were both very happy. This is what saved our chewy calamari from a 2 star to a 3 star. Unlike most chicken clubs, the chicken at Indigo Joe's was perfectly cooked - very moist!

Dessert - Since we were riding on the http://restaurant.com certificate, we stuffed ourselves and split the brownie and ice cream dessert. Can't remember what they called it. It was very yum. Could have heated up the brownie a little bit more, but it was delicious with great texture.

Pretty decent beer menu (22oz Hoegaarden for $6? Yes, please!)...but I don't think I would eat here again. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers after working on our house all day, ravenous and ready to inhale whatever was put in front of us. Just...don't. We got the pre-made, 1/2 pound "patties" you can get a box of for barbecues at Costco. I have no problem paying $9 for a burger - but this was just sad. The only reason we ate them all is because of the aforementioned hunger. So, skip the food - go to drink...they did seem to have pretty good happy hour specials. AND as we were leaving, I saw a sign outside that said they have a $6.50 Grey Goose Bloody Mary bar on Sundays - which I will be definitely checking out.
