Like the other reviews, I would agree that it's very kid friendly.  The playroom, arcade and video game room are located under the same roof and the kids end up there during dinner which is great for the adults. It's a safe place so there are no issues.
As for the food,  I enjoyed my meal as did my wife and kids.  I just had a pizza which was fine and had a nice crispy crust.  My wife had the snapper picatta which came with some sauteed spinach which was very good.  The kids had the shrimp scampi (also very good as I tried it) and the chicken fingers.

As for the prices, yes they are high for most menu items but you're in a resort - what do you expect?  You're there to just eat a decent meal and walk back to your room or go somewhere else in the place.  There are many cheaper alternatives if you're willing to drive to them.

Finally, the wait staff was awesome and very attentive as it is in the Breakers as a whole.  Ask them if you want a special or customized dish.  The table next to us had a chef come by and they described exactly what they wanted for one of their dishes.

The outdoor play ground and inside play area is fun for kids but food is your average Italian. Pretty friendly staff.

This is a very kid friendly spot. I would give this place 2 stars on the food alone, but what is special about it is there is an amazing array of things for kids to do all around the restaurant.  Seated at a table close by, I felt very comfortable allowing my 2 and 4 year old to run off with my friends older boys. They would appear to eat then disappear between meals.  For the first time in 4 years I was able to relax and have a conversation AFTER the meal. As most know toddlers don't allow that to happen!
Food has no heart. My spicy spaghetti pomodoro was dry! And not spicy at all.
Pizza greasy.  Husbands pasta was dry as well.  Dry!!!  I honestly do not think I have EVER used "dry" to describe a pasta dish before.

The Italian Restaurant is the family-friendly restaurant at The Breakers, and it has a totally different vibe than anywhere else there.  It's loud and noisy, with a lot of commotion and kids running around.  There's even a play room for kids right next door.  But that's a good thing, especially after suffering through the rest of the stuffiness that The Breakers oozes.

The complimentary bread basket is amazing; everything is so fresh and warm and tasty.  The sun-dried tomato butter is good enough eat by the spoonful.  All of the appetizers and entrees were great, and portions were large.  The lasagna especially stood out.  Layer after layer of meat and cheese, tucked in between the sheets of pasta, with a bright, clean tasting tomato sauce.  It's the way lasagna should be.

The downside is that you're paying Breaker's prices.  Head west a few miles, and the same dinner will only cost you about half of what it does here.

    Way overpriced.

20$ for a glass of house red wine! Pasta entres were well over 25$. Appetizers around $20
Food was adequate but room was noisy and full of kids.
    Won't go back

A family friendly restaurant, you'll see lots of kids....I came because the price looked affordable.....I had the pizza....it was excellent.  One of the few affordable restaurants at the hotel.  Staff is very helpful the bartender was super nice, even gave me a free drink while I waited.

Family friendly is no joke, serious.  Family friendly.  So much so that there is an arcade, indoor playroom, computer room surrounded by aquariums, an outdoor basketball hoop within ear shot and an outdoor play scape just down the path to the entrance.

On par with The Breakers, the staff were amazing - from the hostess to the waitress to the manager.

We arrived pretty early for a Saturday night, 6pm.

We surveyed the wine list for a bottle but were not impressed.  We ordered a couple of glasses and dug in to the bread basket. Nice bread basket and spreads including a sun dried tomato pesto and a white bean and garlic spread.

Hubby had the Rigatoni sub veggies for pancetta and I had the Tortelloni sub veggies for the sausage sauce.  Pretty great.  The Tortelloni filled with Mozzarella, Ricotta and Reggiano Cheeses was house made and tasted it.  In fact they were quite big and the plate really could have been served 'family style' as could the Rigatoni.  Way too much food for us, but enjoyed none the less.

I went crazy and ordered a dessert drink, I mean a major dessert drink.  Frozen Tiramisu with Kahlua, Amaretto and Bailey's blended with Espresso.  Aye, fantastic and the only 'sweet' I'll need for a while.  Yeah, get one.

Overall, drop by if you are staying at The Breakers, other than that it is not particularly remarkable other than being very child friendly.  I frankly thought it was overpriced, which is rare when it comes to house made pastas.  $27 for my dish and $24 for Hubby's was well over prices in NYC, Chicago, Vegas etc. One can easily find a home made pasta dish for less.

However, walking over from your room is quite easy and the front patio is darn comfy.

GOOD food! Although, my fav thing about it here is the decor and the outdoor arrangements! The essence of what an Italian restaurant would be. Food is tasty, service is good, and there is another room (bar room) that is a more private dinning area. Great place for families. (Especially the arcade located in the restaurant and playground outside).
