Best Mai tai ever to be had in here!
Lets be honest it's pretty divey in here but it's the best kind of divey. The food is typical takeaway fair but if you choose to eat in it always comes out quickly and you get to experience the bar area with all of the interesting shall we say characters in here. I wouldn't want to hang out here as a single female but come in with friends or your partner and soak up some great Mai tai's average food and great people watching.
We have never eaten inside this place but have been doing take-out for over 10 years. Some entrees are very good and others just so-so. What we like the best is the pork chow mein (not made using pungent onions like some places), chicken teriyaki on a stick, Gen Gau's chicken, Hawaiian beef, and the hot and sour soup. Boneless ribs and egg rolls just OK. Sometimes the order person does not speak English well and even though I have ordered dinner specials by number, I get the wrong order. And sometimes they forget to put the chow mein noodles in the bag which is very annoying. All in all, better than most.
Review Source:I've gotten take out from here many a time and it's always been good.
I actually went in and sat down for lunch today. I had one of the combo platters consisting of chicken chow main, pork fried rice and beef teriyaki. Rice was good but kind of dry, chow main was too soupy beef teriyaki was really good. Also had spicy buffalo wings, they were good not really that spicy.
Overall, I'd say this place is a lot better than your average cheap chinese restaurant but not amazing either.
I've never been for the night scene, but I've heard it's the place to be.
Okay, I didn't eat here but had plenty of drinks. Â Not a big fan of Asian cuisine anyway. Â Very very nice people... Fun karaoke... the drinks are strong. Â I actually had to ask for more red bull so I didn't have to get soused on the third sip. Â Smells a tad jiffy johnish... but all in all had a blast and left feeling like a prickly pear.
Review Source:Well, apparently I'm on a flurry of reviewing Chinese restaurants in Merrimack...I'm on an egg roll so I'll continue. Â (see what I did there? Â I typed EGG in front of roll as if a play on words!!! Â God, I am witty).
Jade Dragon...the Jadey Dragon. Â The good ol' Jadey Dragony. Â Ol' J Dragon. Â AKA, J Dizzle Drag izzle in M-town.
Typical greasy-ass Chinese food with a bar in the back. Â You can get a full meal at 1 AM, strong drinks, play those weird video game things that sit on a bar. Â
I did get a baby cockroach in my drink last time I was there ( I didn't ask for it...it just was in there)....and they replaced my drink but NOT the glass...until I asked him to get me a whole new glass.

Known to the locals as simply, "The Jade". Most of The Jades business comes after 10PM on Friday and Saturday evenings since they are open until 1AM. This is the place to go after the other spots in town close for the night. There is a restaurant, and a bar section. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights there is karaoke in the bar. They draw a descent size crowd there.
The food is OK, nothing great, but not too bad either. It's standard Chinese fare. Food is also served in the bar. The drinks are cheap and pretty strong.
Chances are they'll have whatever game that is in season game on the several televisions. They usually have the sound turned off though. If you're going to the bar and smoke bothers you, don't even bother.
