Went here for fun with friends who were throwing an EXTREMELY LARGE PARTY. Â This place was standing room only but the staff still managed to serve with smiles, clean up messes and get rid of messy people. Â There is a courtyard with a fire pit and a dancefloor, we had fun, can't wait to go back when there aren't so many people!
Review Source:Went here this evening for a few drinks with friends. Really nice place with a fun atmosphere, comfy seats, and great service. Place has a really nice beer selection and what looks to be a good cigar selection--I didn't partake as I generally don't smoke, but a friend did.
If smoke bothers you a lot you won't like this place, but its a CIGAR BAR, so I don't see how you can take points off for that. For my money its a nice place and a rare upscale edition to an otherwise bleak Carson City scene, and its definitely worth checking out.
Normally I would never go to a cigar bar, much less in the middle of the day. I'm down here in Carson on business and the client wants to stop and have a drink and show me the newest cigar bar in Carson. I decline but he really wants to go (I'll but you all your drinks!), well, OK, just one. I've really never been in a "cigar bar" before. It looks very upscale and nice, but yes, its really smokey....as expected. The bar dude was kinda aloof and took a while to get the drinks. I had a martini (daytime business lunch..oh yeah!) as did my client. ( I'll have what she's having...yeah right dude...I'm thinkin.) Drink was OK...the place seemed to give me the impression, of a place to try to be someone of higher social standing, when you are not really. I said we have to go after the one drink....yes I really have to go, I gotta drive back to Reno. I guess if you are a cigar smokin person, this place might be OK, but for me, who doesn't smoke...I don't think I would ever want to come in here.....even for free booze!
