Johnny K's has one mean Gyro Platter! The Burgers and subs are A-OK too.
Here's the skinny:
Good Eats and the Gyro Platter is Ginormous!
Old building... it's fairly well maintained though.
Pac Man and Capcom v/s Marvel arcade games.
Dine in has fast service & free refills. Drive thru is OK.
Here's the fat:
I've had a sub, some pasta,a cheeseburger, the Gyro Platter and most of their sides at some point or an other, I haven't found one that I didn't like.
Now to the Gyro Platter, it's huge... giant... mega... I am NOT joking when I say that it feeds two people AND there'll be left overs. You get a whopping stack of meat, onions, tomatoes and Tzatziki Sauce. The only thing I do NOT like is the fact that they only give you TWO pitas to go with all that... and then they charge like $3 if you want two more.
The building is old and has kind of a 80's feel to it. They keep in pretty well maintained it seems, bathrooms need some work but, not bad. tables and booths are the standard style, nothing fancy.
The Pac Man and Capcom v/s Marvel arcade games are in the back of the dining area. I've played 'em a few times while waiting on my food to be brought to the table. Good times.
The service here has always been fast and friendly for me, the drive thru could be faster though. Other than that, I'm sold.

Tried this place for the first time today, and after reading the other reviews I was a bit disappointed. We ordered the Gyro & Souvlaki combo, a rib tips dinner, and a greek salad. The food itself was alright, but they forgot to put in the salad dressing and the tzatziki sauce. Greek salad to me is all about the dressing and what is a gyro without tzatziki. The salad was supposed to be romaine lettuce and it was iceburg. I didn't realize all of this was missing from our order until we returned home, so I didn't make the 15 mile drive back to get it.
Their customer service was good, and the prices not bad, but I couldn't give them more than 3 stars for the mistakes. We may try it again, but will never leave without completely checking the order.
It's official for me. Â After several trips thru the drive-up and now having eaten inside, I'm a big fan. Â
If u have the time, I recommend dining in for a meal. Â It's hard to tell how nice the staff is thru a voicebox and small window. Â Don't expect fine dining (of course) and cutting edge decor. Â The experience was quaintly old-school, from the free refills to Mrs. Pacman all the way down to the free children's dessert ice cream. Â
I shared the gyros/souvlaki combo w my daughter and for $10.56 we were treated to a belt busting platter the two of us couldn't finish...wow! Â
If you're gonna go Greek, skip the frat house and head straight to Johnny K's.
