This is one of my usual Friday night spots. Â I've found the staff to be attentive. Â The evening crowd usually rolls in around 8 pm- which consists of regulars who like to listen to classic rock and an early- to mid-twenties crowd whose music preference ranges from hip-hop to metal with some country thrown in.
There is an enclosed area outside the back door with several picnic tables and a grill. Â In general a lot of people do not congregate there, so I have found it the ideal location to speak on the phone.
There are 3 pool tables, although more room would be nice to avoid having to request someone move aside when trying to make a shot. Â In all fairness, the crowd here has always been very polite and this is a very minor inconvenience. Â There is also a shuffleboard table, several dart boards, and various arcade games.
There is also a kitchen (separate from the bar) that serves your typical bar fare. Â Since they are separate from the bar, they currently accept only cash. Â The food is pretty good, but if you have an aversion to fried food, then the pickings are slim. Â They also serve steaks which are pretty good.
