Great dive bar on the edge of Lake Cable. Â Been a patron for over a decade and although the crowd has slowly changed over the years, the great prices for beer and solid service from the bar staff (Mike is the man) has remained solid. Â Weekend nights tend to favor the over- 30 crowd before midnight and under-30 crowd afterward. Â The bar is cash only, but there is an inconspicuous ATM in the corner for those without cash. Â No food outside of popcorn, but the local pizza guys normally drop in around 10 or 11 with food if you're interested.
Review Source:Jose's is a fun little dive bar at the edge of Lake Cable. Â There's usually a pretty diverse crowd that shows up on any given night.
They don't have an extensive beer selection...pretty much the basics, and it's cash only, which sucks.
You're almost always going to have a fun time when you go and you'll probably meet some interesting people.
I love Jose's. Â It's the only place worth drinking in Lake Cable or all of Canton, for that matter. Â They have a pool table, pinball, and movie-style popcorn. Â There's free food (wings, pizza, etc.) on game nights (go OSU!), and their costume party at Halloween rocks. Â The crowd is mixed, age-wise, and mostly single. Â I met my current GF there (she wore Saran Wrap to the costume party last year), and, if she ever dumps my ass for the young guy who manages the place as she frequently threatens, I'm going to make a move on the Friday night bartender. Â
Try the Storm Cloud! Â
And, yo, Jose--can we get some JT or BT&H in the jukebox?
