Woodbridge doesn't have much to offer in the way of "night life" but K2 is shaping up to be a nice venue for a drink, meal, and/or some dancing!
I have gone twice now in the last 3 months and enjoyed both times.
There is a lot of security, this makes me feel secure.
There is an area for sitting and having dinner-- dancing-- lounging (or VIP)--the bar. . .
I really like designated areas concept.
The food is reasonable an pretty good-- although I didn't care for the dessert (tasted boxed and like the freezer it was in).
There are B and C list entertainers there for concerts often. . .
This is a nice place for a party as well. Â
Plenty of free and well lit parking!
I visited K2 on a Thursday evening during the last hour of happy hour. This lounge had a Cheers type of feel to it, some where for the locals of the area  to come unwind and socialize. The staff was pleasant, the food had a down home appeal to it and the drinks were reasonably priced. I decided to stay for a little while longer so that I could see what the evening crowd and music were like. I soon discovered that it was "biker night" and although not my usual crowd it was fun! DJ Laylow kept the crowd on the dance floor with hip hop and R n B from the 90's-2013. The dance floor accommodated the number of patrons on site comfortably.  I giggled as I watched some of the "uncle browns"  of the club, cut a little rug. (characters)... 8o) everything was all in fun,  kind of like a family get together that Madea may have thrown. I enjoy going to D.C. For romantic outings and up scale dinning  but I will certainly be visiting K2 again for a down home good time.

The crowd looked like they all had "two mo dips" in them. Centrum Silver should've been in there selling vitamins. I think my waitress had gold teeth too... Where they do that at? She was very nice though. She told me the Prime Rib was "off the chain"!
The building was a little run down. Playing old school hip hop and R&B.
Only had one two drinks and left so I can't comment on the Prime Rib.
My husband and I were shopping at Potomac mills Mall and wanted to hang out and relax before going home to MD. We looked this place up on the GPS and decided to get a bite to eat. We had to pay $10 after 9pm to get in. They have a nice set up for it to be in Woodbridge. I ordered the quesidillas and onion rings and my husband ordered wings. They had a DJ and were playing the boxing match. I think it was a fun spot to chill before going home and the food was great, they had over 10 recipes for the wings and we love wings when we go out. I would def. go again but not after 9pm, paying to get in is crazy. Also we love to go see live jazz bands and they offer that on some night so I'd like to come back if were ever shopping this way or visiting our friends in Virginia.

Drinks- A+ perfect mix and perfect price. Cost me $5 for a drink that costs $10 everywhere else
Music- B not bad, lot of the usual current hip hop.
Setup- C not bad had a lot of room, kind of a dance floor.
Area/Patrons- F I hate to knock a crowd, just because its not my type, but I must. Just not my type of place or people. Sketchy area, and the crowd wasn't bad, but hoodish. Baseball caps, sneakers, gold teeth, kinda crowd.
