This was a very interesting lunch stop.  I know nothing about this type of food and had no idea what anything on the menu was.  Fear not, the menu board has pictures and useful descriptions which made it easy for me to make my selection.

The food came out and it was GREAT!!  The service from what I'm guessing was the owner, was very friendly.  They circled back to make sure I was enjoying it.  I spent about $12, which seemed slightly high for what I got (mostly rice and two kabobs), but for a new flavor experience it was worth it.  I left satisfied and glad I ventured in here.  I will return.

I came here the other day with my sister. I ordered the Kabab Soltani Joojeh (chicken and beef combo) and my sister got the Kabab Soltani Barg (beef kabob and beef strips). The chicken and beef kabobs were cooked well. The beef kabob was really tender and somewhat tasty. We got the cucumber yogurt sauce as a side and it was pretty decent. However, the chicken kabobs really lacked flavor and the beef strips were chewy and not cooked well at all. There was nothing special about the rice either, just plain white rice colored yellow. Overall, I found that the platters were way overpriced, esp. for how bland the food was. Being South Asian, I have had my fair share of kabobs and these were simply subpar. We were very disappointed especially after having read all the positive reviews.

A little over a year ago this place initiated my love affair with middle eastern food. The beef stew is the ultimate comfort food. The spices in it are spot on and the rice that accompanies it is buttery and delicious. The gyro sandwich is one of my favorites; the meat is always succulent, the lavash is soft and fresh, and it's a good size for the price. The falafel isn't the best i've had, but its crispy and well seasoned. The only menu option i would steer clear of is the lamb...it can be pretty tough and is rather expensive. My go-to side is the yoghurt with cucumber, but the macaroni salad and shirazi are also great options. All in all, this is a great option for quick, fairly priced middle eastern food.
