Found within a crowded shopping complex and sandwiched between two popular national chain stores is this delightful find for good Indian cuisine in the KOP area.

Typically I prefer to order a la carte when in an Indian restaurant, but today I was forced to go buffet during lunch. There was no option for a la carte, which is reason for 1-star reduction. In retrospect, I'm glad the buffet was the only option because of the chance to try a wide assortment of dishes and flavors. For hot dishes, they featured 10-12 choices including the typical tikka masala, saag paneer, biryani and curries. Their rice and naan were on par or better than most I've had at other sites. The salad bar was about as extensive as I've seen in an Indian restaurant. They had mulligatawny, a rare find in many buffets. And they even feature a dessert station that included 5 choices - three of which were new to me - including a fan fave in gulab jaman. All of this allowed me to choose broadly... leave just as broadly after clearly overeating. But when the food is that tasty, can you blame a guy??

The service was attentive, albeit limited to quick empty plate removal and refills of water. I'd definitely recommend this spot for a quick lunch. Hopefully, I'll be able to try their dinner (and go a la carte) on my next excursion.

I was craving Indian. My boyfriend loves Indian food and took me to a joint in Trooper. I wasn't too fond of that place and we figured we would give this one a try. The poppadoms were delicious as well as all the chutneys. The lamb samosas were amazing. We had the chicken tikka masala.
Sauce was good. I didn't like the chicken breast... wish they would have used thigh meat. Very very laid back service. I will most likely come back to try their other dishes :)

Great take out food. Terrible take out service.

I've never dined there. Only take out. Food is outstanding.

Problem is with take out experience. They don't bother tracking your name or phone number.

So if you are not the only take out order expect 20 questions. Did you order blah, blah, blah. What about blah, blah, blah. If you are the person picking up but say your spouse ordered, forget about it. If you can't identify the order, they resort to "is it the small order or big order". Lol. As if you are privy the size of your order relative to that of others!  

It's quirky once or twice. Aggregating the third or fourth time. After that, you'll just stop ordering from there.
