This is an honest review from a customer who tried this place couple of times. Responding to the boulder douche who rated this restaurant 1 star, The name of this place is Kabsa !! It means that they are specialized in making one dish which is Kabsa and its manny different delicious variations. thats why there are about 10 items on the menu smartass. Its a small business and i agree that the service is not 10/10 every time you go there, but most of the time the service is perfect. And when lets say the service is not good, worst case, I order my food and get it on time thats it. I don't expect the waiter to sit and ask me about my feelings and hows my day. Again, Its a small business. I honestly love the texture of their meat and the different ways that you can get your rice cooked with different spices. I cant wait to go there again.
Review Source:Yelp had it at 5 stars but I failed to notice those came from only 2 reviewers. Â
1st the atmosphere is a cross between a 70's basement and a gutted strip mall. In this case, what u see is what you get. Â
2nd the service is: "what service". Â The waiter didn't speak English but he seemed nice after disappearing to cook the food.
3rd the menu has 10 items: over cooked chicken or lamb on one of 5 colors of rice. Â We left hungry without finishing or without a doggie bag.
This is a true gem in disguise. Â The food is amazing. Â (I tried the Mandi Lamb and it was perfectly cooked. Â The rice was also amazing.) Don't expect much of an atmosphere however. Â (basically huge empty room with a few lunch room style tables) The menu is a little different than most mediterranean in Denver and the prices a little higher (see picture for menu and prices) but the taste and portion sizes are worth it.
