  I really don't know how this place stays in business. I've tried it on a few separate occasions, varying times of day because I work nights. The chicken is GOD AWFUL, the sides are not fresh, and the food just tastes greasy and old. Once in a while, I will succumb to my guilty pleasure of KFC while on the road. Alpharetta = Delicious! Dawsonville = Yummy!  But this dump needs to be shut down and fast! Can we maybe get a Popeyes up in here?? Seriously folks, save your money. This KFC is NASTY!

  I don't stop in to the KFC very often maybe once every 6 months.  I must say it is consistent.  The chicken is greasy and the biscuits are doughy.  the only thing that seems to be dependably good are the mashed potatoes and the gravy.......

  I went there at night, around 8PM, and ordered my meal at the drive-thru. When I pulled around I saw only one other car in line. I saw her receive her food, but the driver was talking and laughing with the employee at the window instead of driving away. I waited over 15 minutes for them to leave, since I was hungry and not in too much of a hurry. I thought when I drove up I'd hear "sorry about the wait"  or something similar, but when I reached the window the employee walked away (without saying a word to me) and started talking with another employee inside. I will NOT be going back.

  While they had the Double Down, I stopped by here explicitly wanting to buy one (like Mount Everest, I had to eat it because it was there) but they were sold out.  Sold out of your ridiculous, disgusting, heavily advertised, presumably delicious promotional item.  The employee who helped me was nice enough.  I really really need to find somewhere interesting and non-disgusting to eat lunch around here.
  
  I do not think I will return.  I've got to find some non-chain action around here or I'm going to die.  Of a coronary.  From fried chicken.

  KFC - Oakwood
  
  I'm not all that crazy about KFC - I have to be in the mood.  Having said that, I had the new Double Down sandwich yesterday for lunch - it's pretty good - but it's a little pricey for lunch.
  
  Everybody should at least try one.
