Kiwi's Pub & Grill

One of the best places to hang out, eat some good food, drink some cold beer, and play some darts/pool. The wings are the best around, the prices are good, the service and staff are all awesome, and the specials vary all the time. They have a calender with all the specials and events that are going on every month on their Facebook page. I'd say the best times to go would be Wednesday nights (free live trivia at 8), and Fri/Sat nights because of the DJ that comes at around 10.

Kiwis has recently been remolded in the last year or so. They've updated the bar, seating and TVs. They have decent prices, a large selection of beer and liquor.

Lots of TVs, pool table, darts, Juke Box. They also have a Breathalyzer...

Clean atmosphere. They may have gone non-smoking. When I was last there I did not notice anyone smoking except outside. Pleasant surprise to me being a non-smoker.

They have an extended food menu with a surprising number of vegetarian options (more than 1 is considered a lot for a bar). They also have the standard wings, burgers, etc.

On my last visit there last week I stuck to Cider on draft. I did watch the bartender pour someone a Bombay Gin & Tonic - I got drunk just watching him pour it.

Definitely a decent place to stop in for a drink or hang out and get rowdy.

Just went there today for lunch (and this was not my first visit) and had a horrible experience. Was there around 1pm and they weren't that busy. Had maybe about 3 people at the bar and two other tables that had customers at it. We waited for about a good 25 minutes before anyone even greeted us or even took our drink order. We placed a simple order (corndog app., a grilled chicken garden salad and a kiwi burger). It took another 25 minutes to even receive our food and once it was brought to us, there was no grilled chicken on the salad. When this was pointed out to the woman whom brought us the food (whom we assumed was the manager on duty), she had a complete attitude towards us and said it wasn't her fault she made the salad how the order was placed. The ambiance was just as bad as the service as the tv's and the jukebox were in a continuous battle of which could be louder. Don't get me wrong I realize this is a dive bar and have no problem catching up on what is going on in sports. But when someone selects metal band Sevendust's song "B*tch" to play in the middle of the afternoon, I really think that is quite inappropriate.
