I came to K&T because I've heard so many good things about the bahn mi sandwiches here.
It's a real hole-in-the-wall that you might miss if you blink. Â So don't blink.
The inside is in a word - nondescript. Â Very basic deli counter and a few dingy tables and chairs. Â But you come here for the food, not the decor. Â The basic pork banh mi was excellent. Â Very fresh vegetables and flavorful pork. Â The bread was toasted perfectly and provided just the right amount of crunch.
Next time I will try their pho as staring at the pictures on the wall while waiting for my banh mi made me salivate.
Dropped by while looking for a new go to place for pho. Their pho was tasty, I wanted to try something else but their menu is confusing and the person attending me behind the counter was too busy to tend to my questions.
Would I return? Sure.. but not on the regular.

Back again for the Pho Bo. Â Best I've had in Indy. Â Or anywhere? Â Well, I haven't graced Vietnam with my presence so I have no room to judge. Â Service is great if it's not busy. Â Why do I enjoy being the only white person in a restaurant? Â Cause it's fun!
Give it a try. Â They open at 9:30 am on most days...pho for breakfast y'all???
