The Sushi is always fresh and they have great specials. The owners are very nice and always great us when we arrive.  Service is good and the atmosphere is nice

If there's one piece of advice for this restaurant, it would be to make sure and try the sashimi lunch! It's delicious. We do pay the little bit extra when we have udon with our sushi, because it's just a great compliment - and our server was so patient with our one child, who - like so many - has a hard time making up her mind. Relatively quiet place given that it's situated by itself on Route 9 North across from the bridal store, storage area and that whole plaza - but other times we're surprised with a crowd. Nicely situated to grab lunch when going to and fro in this area.

Kyoto was one of the first places that I have ever tried sushi, and I have brought many people here to enjoy it with me. The valentine roll and the Kyoto Katsu Roll are very good as well as a few other of their speciality rolls. The entrees are decent, but what makes Kyoto special is their specialty sushi. Hibachi is also fun and each person gets a hefty portion of food! Overall, they are one of the best Japanese locations in the area, and I would recommend trying out a few of their speciality rolls at least once.

This place makes me feel like home. Staff is super friendly. Portions are huge for a great price. Food is delicious, best I've ever had.

It's hard to give a review when I was told they were not able to serve 2/3 of the menu because nobody was there to cook it. It was sushi only. What I had was fine and the service was good but I hope that's not a normal thing.

This is the best hibachi restaurant I've been to. I've gone every year for my birthday for the past 10 years. They charge the same as other hibachi restaurants in the area but unlike the other restaurants they include more food in your order. They give you rice, noodles, soup, salad, shrimp, vegetables, your main meal and ice cream. Other places sometimes don't give you rice and noodles and its an extra cost. This is definately a must-eat-at restaurant.

Hands down some of the best sushi I have ever had, It is a pricey place, but you pay for what you get. I have not had the hibachi yet so I cannot comment on that but from a sushi standpoint absolutely great. It's a nice place to go out on a date or just a casual dinner. Also BYOB which is never bad.

I'm not sure why this place isn't rated better, but it's really good. I've driven past this place about 1,000 times and never stopped, but I did the other day and it was a great decision.

Like some of the other reviews have stated, no matter what time you go it's practically always empty, which isn't necessarily a bad thing to me. Unfortunately, an empty restaurant doesn't translate into stellar waiter service. You need to be patient when waiting for a refill of water, or your check, or to place your order, but again, I didn't have anything to do when I stopped by so I didn't mind. You might though.

If you don't mind staff who don't speak the best English and who don't really care to be waiters, but you want really good food stop by.

They give you good food, but charge you for excellent food.  The Hibachi portion is kind of ghetto.

I know a lot of people love Kyoto, but I'm not a BIG fan. Everytime I've ever been, there's no one else there - like, literally, empty. Then there's the smell of the place - super fishy and not fresh. If I ever do go to Kyoto, I do takeout - because there's no worse feeling than being the only person at a restaurant during prime lunch or dinner time.

I recently had their Godzilla roll, which was quite good, as well as a crabmeat crunch roll - also good. Def not my favorite sushi place in the area - but mediocre.

One of the best sushi places I've eaten at. Great sushi and roll variety, everything is always fresh. Valentine roll is a must-try and they've recently added a bunch of new fancy ones to their menu. Hibachi is also pretty good. Service is not exceptional as most of the time waiters don't speak good English but otherwise a nice place.

I get sushi from Kyoto somewhat regularly, usually for take-out, since most other japanese restaurants in the area  are worse. The food here is average, but the prices are too high for what you get.

In addition to this, the few times that I dined in, I was not impressed with the slow service.

Decent sushi at decent prices, close to my parent's place. Not much to say, they have a huge menu and an awesome roll variety, everything was fresh and yummy. The mickey roll is quite good, as is the spicy scallop. Good spot to swing by for a lunch or dinner but definitely not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.
