Honestly this place was awful. Â My expectations were not high, but living in Poestenkill you don't have a lot of options. Â I love the views out here and privacy, but you aren't eating at 5 start places (or even 3 star). Â However this place was truly one of the worst I have been too. Â 54 minute wait to get a hamburger was bad enough, but I ordered it medium rare and there was no red or even the slightest pink available. Â I mean straight up brown well done over booked cheap hamburger. Â When I told the lady I wasn't eating because of this she said it wasn't their fault and it has to be cooked to a certain temp. Â So why ask how you want it cooked if all meat must be over-cooked to the point of dog food? Â What if I would have ordered it well done? Â Ouch. Â Anyway after having a crazy long wait, and a horrible sandwich that was prepared wrong, the waitress still charged full price. Â Even though we couldn't even eat it. Â We spoke up and she declined to remove it. Â Just fail in every possible way.
Review Source:anyone who thinks this is anything close to acceptable dining has probably just been released from prison. The ambiance is akin to a bingo parlor or a VFW hall. The spaghetti was completely overcooked. The waitress who was probably just 18 tried and i have no complaints. I guess im more disappointed because i expected more after reading reviews. No price was worth this junk although i would characterize the prices as moderate. Overall stay away even for a pizza u can do better
Review Source:I didn't have pizza. I had wings and antipasto. Â
I expect very little from Buffalo Wings that are not from The Ruck. Â We got an order of both mild and hot (they do not have medium Buffalo sauce here). Â The mild looked really buttery so I didn't have any. Â The hot were reasonably spicy but the sauce was gloppy and tasted and felt like it had flour in it. Â
The antipasto (for two) was really weak on the veggies and was mostly orange colored bread wedges, 2 pieces of garlic bread, and cold cuts. Â The balsamic vinaigrette was just balsamic vinegar (forgot to shake the bottle?). Â It needed more leafy stuff. Â
It was between "meh" and "ok" and I don't know if I would seek it out (actually the only reason we went there was because the Red Front is closed on Mondays)
