The food is standard bar-fare but decent.
The drinks are strong and well-priced. Â The staff is outstanding and will all know your name within an hour. Â They are amazing and make this random little place on the end of downtown at the bottom of the Times Union Center worth the trip. Â
All of my favorite memories from Albany (and some of my not favorites...haha) were at this place. Â It's one of the very few places I would come back and visit. Â I just love everyone there and the laid-back atmosphere so much!
The first floor is always open to the public and has a big-screen projector TV (I think that's what it's called) and multiple smaller TVs around the bar. Â There are darts and lotto games to play. Â Upstairs you can book a private function and get a great view of the entire place. Â It's always fun and not too expensive. Â
Plus, karaoke on Friday is always entertaining!
If you want a chill night on a Friday and want to be treated well, this is your place. Â
Hours can vary at times so head out early and then drink 'til closing. Â Oftentimes my drinking habits set the hours!
