Landing Pub

One of the best dive bars around. Ice cold beer and darts. Do it up!

So I've been back a number of times since my first review, but most recently, J and I came here for New Years Eve with a bunch of his friends..and the place was relatively uncrowded!

Landing Pub actually sets up a great NYE celebration - they had a (free!) buffet-style food setup, and once it got close to midnight, they handed out classes of champagne and hats/tiaras/noisemakers to everyone.

Sure, there were the usual weirdos, but what bar doesn't have them? Overall, definitely a fun (and cheap!) NYE celebration!

This is a complete dive bar, which I love.  The alcohol was not expensive.  The company was fantastic.  It makes for a fantastic evening when "the regulars" openly welcome new patrons to their favorite bar.  There really isn't anything else to do other than drink.  No one was really dancing, playing darts, or other bar games.  This is just a great place to have a drink, chat with your friends (old and new), and debate whether curling should be an Olympic event.
