So I was trying to find some amazing BBQ place that you folks rave about but the GPS farted and I decided to stop at La Loma.
When I was greeted in Spanish, I thought it might be a good place. Â When the pasty irish guy responded in Spanish, they must have freaked a bit. Â I sat at the bar and was promptly asked for my drink order. Â They have some great specials on domestic draft but I went with Dos Equis. Â After a bit of chit chat with the friendly bartender, I asked her opinion. Â Carnitas o Enchiladas? Â She paused and said both were great but since this was my only time there, I should go with the Carnitas.
My dish followed shortly and the smell from the carnitas was amazing.  It was complimented with beans and rice and ample cilantro, onion and jalepeño. They have an amazing picante sausa that you need to ask for and I would highly recommend that you do.
Great service, authentic mexican and $20 bucks for the dish, large beer and a tip. Â Dont pass it by.
My favorite Mexican restaurant. The pollo chipotle is so good that it's hard to order other things, but I found they'll put the chipotle sauce on vegetarian dishes too on request. Others have really liked the loma de res, chimichangas, and chile verde. Â Delicious. Friendly staff, colorful decor, and a shared margarita makes the meal.
Review Source:Las Lomas is hands down my favorite place to eat in fort wayne. Their food is incredible. I personally enjoy the chorizo burrito, but i have never had anything that was nothing short of awesome!
The texas margaritas are the best I have had here in fort wayne. And the servers are always friendly, helpful, and informative.
All you could want in a restaurant!
