Anyone who has ate at Coney Island and has the nerve to say these are good is not telling thee truth.Im 60yrs old and lived above the old Canton laundry across from the GOP as a kid.Back then you could get a good dog with chili sauce that stuck to the dog, not watered down chili that only makes a great steamed bun yucky. I watched for many years and marveled at the old timers who had an armful of dogs and whipped them out so fast. But the sauce was not as it is today.I make better11111 Its just as everything goes, no one cares to keep the old recipes going.Want to make more money.cheapen ingredients up. Fine but dont say their authentic cause some of us oldies know better.
Review Source:hot dogs that taste like you bought them from Walmart.... chili dogs? that is not chili, that is red hamburger water.... you can not fling chili out of a bowl onto a hot dog.
for Fort Wayne, they're not bad.... not great either.
a Great chili dog has thick chili and a natural casing hot dog... not some pink ballpark wanna be....
service is non existent.
Hands down the best coney dogs I have ever had. I have tried many, many others and nothing comes close. Every time I have bitten into a coney dog somewhere else, all I can think is that it's not as good as Coney Island in Fort Wayne. Maybe one day I will find one but I have yet to do it.
