Who would've thought a Burger King could be a community pillar?
They share the same one-block area with Saint Mary's soup kitchen, and a Mathew 25(free) clinic.
Also with the people who live in that area.
As far a BKs go, this is a 5-star.
I have been here two times in the last 7 days. Scored free vanilla cones as part of their current promotion.
I got a whopper w/cheese. Last order was perfect(for a fast food place) - plenty of mayo, fresh tomatoes, right amount of pickles and onions.
Wow, the second time I wanted to try a Grilled chicken. They were of course out of Grilled Chicken.
They gave me a free lunch of whatever I wanted that they actually did have.
They Refused to let me pay them.
This has never happened.
Guess you can really have it your way, sometimes and yes, there really is such a thing as a free lunch once in a while.
I've had a couple of the free ice cream cones. They are excellent vanilla cones, equal to OR a step above McDonald's.
Everything here is a super sized version of McDonald's (when you order similar things). Also there is more variety.
The place was neat and clean and the staff very good. What did I see? Â I saw two mediums LCD TV's s on the walls for customers to watch while they eat. Â Nicely done BK!
This place is pretty damn good as far as Burger King goes. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. I actually give the staff huge credit for providing the amiable service that they do, given the fact that they have to put up with crazy druggies and crack fiends daily. I really liked this place and would continue to come back.
