Downtown Deli & Marketplace is quickly becoming my favorite downtown restaurant. The food is fresh and flavorful, and there are options for those who eat dairy-free and gluten-free. I also think the prices are reasonable based on similar restaurants in the area.
The deli offers build-your-own sandwiches, with plenty of topping options and freshly baked bread; a quality salad bar with organic dressings; soups; an entree of the day; and quinoa and couscous salads. I've tried all but the couscous and quinoa, and nothing has disappointed. Â The soups, though, are my favorite. The tomato was hearty but not creamy and the Thai Chicken Noodle was out of this world. I upgraded my meal to a bowl just for more.
The service is quick and friendly, and someone always has a stellar recommendation.
