Le Chateau

Well what a disappointment.  Beautiful place, great valet and nice wait staff, but what happened to the kitchen?  We were told there was a new chef, only two weeks on the job, but guess he/she forgot how to get food out to the tables.  Yes, there was a huge private party downstairs but if the kitchen cannot handle a private as well as service in the upstairs, then close the place.  This was our first and last trip here.  We were there for 2.5 hours and still no food.  Didn't even comp for the two drinks.  However, "when you come back, I'll buy you a bottle of wine".  Well methinks not!  Yup, grilled cheese at home...at least we eat.

The food and staff here were fabulous! Apparently they hired a new chef recently but their food was superb! I ordered the vegetable platter and it was a nice portion and it was delicious! My parents ordered the Seared Sea Bass with the saffron risotto and I had a bite AND IT TASTED AMAZING! The staff there were super friendly, I will definitely go again!

Bf and I came here for a wedding. I wasn't a fan of the valet parkers attempting to speak French or using fake French accents, but they weren't creepy and when we pulled up, a guy helped me out of the car. When we left, another guy ran to get our car even though it was parked across from us.

Andy, one of the servers, was really fantastic. He had a great sense of humor and was very attentive to our table, the trouble making table. He recommended the prime rib over the monkfish medallions, and I should have listened to him. The monkfish was so so. He used me as the lady of the table so he could appropriately place the right dish in front of everyone as per their order. I thought his other colleagues were really fantastic too. They did a great job keeping our glasses full and bringing food out.

As for the facility itself, it's not huge, but it was a good fit for the wedding guests (~120 people). There is an outdoor garden where we enjoyed appetizers and drinks as we waited for the wedding party to arrive.

I agree with other Yelpers that the view is amazing. On top of the perfect temperature, low humidity, and great weather, this place is located in an ideal place for a beautiful sunset. The wedding party managed to get their pictures taken as the sun was setting, and we were able to snap a few pretty pics ourselves.
