I've been to multiple wine bars in the area and in nyc and can say this is one of the best!  No other restaurants even come close to  topping the experience my boyfriend and I had at Mariela Rossi Wine Lounge.  We are both absolutely in love with this place.  Not only is the food incredible but the wine is just as amazing.  The service is phenomenal and all for a great price! In addition, the atmosphere is gorgeous and is perfect for any occasion.  We've been to the wine bar on multiple occasions and will continue to happily attend many nights to come. I highly recommend this wine bar!
Review Source:We were initially happy to see a new wine bar close to home in the small town of Pound Ridge. Â Unfortunately our first experience was quite poor and we do not recommend Mariela's. Â
The first and largest problem -- wine was incredibly overpriced for a very small pour (not just below average -- pathetically small!). Â Secondly, the restaurant only serves small plates and the portion sizes were also minuscule for the price. Â Third, numerous items on the menu are no longer served. Â For example, we tried to order "Sushi Italiano" and were told they have not served this in "months". Â In hindsight, we should have headed for the door at this point...lesson learned: If a wine bar is not going to be classy enough to run a sheet of paper through a laser printer to reprint a menu that only contains 12 items (let alone simply using a magic marker if printing out menus for a total of 5 tables is too much trouble!) it's unlikely they are going to pay enough attention to more important details. Â While we are on the subject of "classy", it's worth noting that before we ordered our first drink we were asked if we had a coupon! Â
Service was friendly, but not exceptional. Â The food and wine were of acceptable quality -- nothing unique to rave about, but nothing wrong aside from tiny portions.
We certainly will not return -- and it's hard to imagine how anyone would be a repeat customer based upon our experience.
