It's Gilt's menu in a quieter, more intimate atmosphere. Â The same exact menu. Â They can make you some specialty drinks if you know what they want but I do miss the Curio cocktail menu. Â Service is faster than what i remember at Curio. Â Food's always tasty and consistent among all the Gilt empire restaurants.
Review Source:Beef Tartare: Nicely diced and seasoned bread was nicely toasted not too charred.
Winter Green Salad: Perfectly dressed and seasoned nice mix of bitter greens and acidic vin.
Octopus: My favorite course, beautifully cooked nice briney capers and well balanced with the flavor of the octopus great heat just enough to make you want to come back for more. I personally loved the baguette that you had to tear apart it adds that bit of tactile pleasure to the dish.
Shrimp and grits: Awesome in tandem with the octopus and of course by itself. Shrimp was really nicely cooked smokey delicious. Chiles cut through the grits which were warm and comforting great for a slushy winter night.
Pistachio Ice Cream: Nicely tempered and sinfully good.
Coconut Mocha Pie: Not too sweet, super light and fluffy I would have liked just a bit more toasted coconut to break up the texture.
London Dry Collins: Awesome well balanced.
Glass of cab: A touch of spice really nice with the Octopus and Shrimp.
Service was absolutely outstanding our server  was a pleasure attentive, friendly, warm, knowledgeable seemed as excited to be in the new space as we were. Everything was paced really well seamless to say the least.
