The Library Taphouse and Kitchen

I don't have a yelp account so I'm using my boyfriends to write this review because of how thoroughly unsatisfied I am with this bar.  I appreciate the low prices on food & drinks on Saturday and the patio is a bonus in the summertime, but you honestly get what you pay for.  Whenever we come back to visit our friends from college we end up here because it is usually on a Saturday when the food is half off. We finally decided to go elsewhere. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and unsanitary every time I've ever been here.  I don't know why its so hard for the manager or owner of the bar to have his staff check if there is enough toilet paper in the stalls every few hours and mop the floors/unclog toilets & sinks.  The place is clearly run by incompetent college kids.  Also, there are always fights outside this bar, and from what I've witnessed the bouncers seem to enjoy egging them on so that they have a reason to jump in and get physical with people.  The clientele here have gotten trashier since I graduated 2 years ago when it first opened, probably because of how cheap the drinks are and how dirty the bathrooms are.  If you are looking for recommendations of what bars to go to in the area, I would recommend walking down West Michigan Ave a few extra blocks & hanging out at Grotto, Y-bar or even Wayside is better than this trash. Step your game up Library, because as of now you suck.
