I think if you go in with the right attitude you'll love the restaurant. It's small, so seating can take a while if they're full. The service was fine and the waiter was really working hard. I found him attentive and tried to make sure that I had any requests all set so that he didn't have to keep running back and forth.
But most importantly I think the food is really great. Fresh, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. I had a vegetable panini and you could tell everything was really fresh. My nephew inhaled his hamburger which came with a small, light pasta salad and my son loved his bowl of pasta. The menu is extensive so there's something for everyone and although I haven't had their breakfasts YET, my family raves about it.
I'd definitely go back when I'm in town. Give it a try and just be relaxed. You'll enjoy it.
Delicious food. Unfortunately Memorial Day weekend it's crazy & they are short handed so the service is terrible!!! Â We were here for brunch & it took a half an hour for us to get water!! Â All in all the food is consistently delicious & I highly recommend it!!
I ordered the Mexican breakfast ~ yum! My husband ordered the french toast which looked and smelled fantastic! Â My husband confirmed my senses and said it was the best he's had in a long time! Â So, all in all we had a terrific brunch!!
Went here for a late breakfast. Service was very slow. Had to flag down someone just to get a glass of water (which I did order and then never received.) My breakfast of just an omelet with a side of bacon took way too long to prepare and was just of mediocre tasting. The mushrooms, onions, and cheese in my omelet were just folded in and the cheese wasn't even melted! The only decent thing on my plate was the hash browns.
Maybe I'll go back to try their pizza, but not anytime soon.
Service at Lisa's is AWFUL! Walked in to try to place a carryout order, and you'd think I was invisible--ten minutes before they'd deign to notice me. Ditto for when I picked it up. Hard to imagine, when I counted at least nine people working there (and the dining room only has about a dozen tables!). The food was not worth the hassle: Â The quality of the pizza was only one notch above a mall food court.
Review Source:This review is based only on 1 item but their pizza alone deserves the rating. Ordered a large regular pizza from here and it is probably the best pizza I have had outside of New York City. It surely is the best New York style I have tried in our area. Â
It had perfect chewy thin Brooklyn style crust. Perfect balance of fresh tasting sauce and cheese. Not the least bit greasy. Flawless. Â
Can't wait to try their other items. The take-out menu had many other tasty items on it with decent prices as well. Â
Finally had found a place that serves pizza as good as New York City instead of the slop that you so often get around here that is often passed off as New York style and isn't even close to it.
