This place is lame. No explanation needed.

This place is kind of nice. I have come here several times.

The only thing well on the nights they have dancing I would opt for another place.  It looks like you are in the slum of a neighborhood.  I am not sure where some of these people come from but they definitely come out of the woodwork. They DO NOT live in the area and you CAN tell.

I hate to say this but perhaps a cover charge or raise your prices.

Unfortunately I have been turned off by the place because of the crowd.

Other than that I do want to say the door men are genuinely kind and welcoming.  Bartenders nice. Nothing over the top.  Drinks are decent.

Perhaps if they change things I shall return.  But lately I have become so darn picky.

This place is weak. A few of my friends and heard about this place in the valley went to check it out. The next thing you know, is the there are about 15 tow trucks taking everyone's car from the parking lot. Man it sucked! The Little Rock must have gotten some kick back from the tow company that night. F that place!

Cool bar in the valley. They got a pool table, decent sized dance floor, good drink specials at nights. Only thing is they sometimes charge at the door which isn't really worth it for this kind of bar, but it does get pretty packed weekend nights. I made the mistake of eating the little rock appetizer platter which consisted of all fried foods. They use some nasty grease which made me sick after. Other than the food everything is great. I stopped coming here for a while because they would keep people waiting in line outside and charge 5 bucks, trying to hype the place up. Otherwise its a cool spot to check out.

Well,  I usually go here during happy hour (ONLY!) purely because of convenience (walking distance from where I live). The prices are not bad. Some of the bartenders are cool. The drinks are strong. But the douche ratio kills it. Loud, obnoxious drunks that criticize songs you put on..... then they go and play prince non-stop.... i dont think so..... had to take a break from this place.

I came here not knowing what to expect and the first thing I realized was that this place has a very grungy, grimy vibe. The dance floor was pretty small, so it's pretty packed.

    Crowd:
The crowd can be a little rude.

    Music:
    DJ spins Hip-Hop, old-school  and Top 40s

    Bar:
Very cheap drinks, not like the Hollywood or DTLA bars that charge $12+ for one drink.

    Cover:
There is no cover on Thursday nights, but there is a cover charge on weekends. This place is definitely not worth paying a cover for.

    Parking:
    Barely any parking.

So it's time to dip into the local bar review forray. Funny that I've never reviewed this place, yet I've done the Barrell and Copperbucket, even though I've been to this spot about 40+ times. Kind've skurrrred to drop a review though since people are "claiming" the owners banned people after negative reviews. Oh well.

    ----------------
    LOCATION
    ----------------

Located in Tarzana on Reseda Blvd... like 100 yards from Ventura Blvd. Easy to find off the freeway. Across the street from Gelsons and Winchells donuts. Inside it's a pretty awesome set up, 1/2 dance floor, 1/2 bar with couches, tables, bar seating, darts, pool table. I recently (past year) became aware that they have a sizeable outdoor smoking patio with heat lamps, great area to go out to on those crowded weekend nights.

    -----------------
    THE GOOD
    -----------------

If you feel like going out and don't feel like driving to Hollywood this is a fun spot.

THURSDAY is the best night, good music, no cover always full with a line out the door late night. FRIDAY there's a $5.00 cover I think, as well as SATURDAY night.

I usually NEVER come before 10pm, and practically never before 11pm... but after those times on THURS - SUN it's pretty full.

Honestly I've never had a one-night-stand with anyone here, BUT I've met some new girls to go out with and new friends. However if you are a guy or gal just looking to "get it in", then come on down cause there is a large amount of slutty girls and guys who are DTF. Typically not very hot but good enough.

Coming on a Mon-Weds night it's usually pretty slow and lots of room on the dance floor. Definitely a good spot to come with friends to drink / socialize.

Chee, the Common'esq looking doorman. Super cool, super nice unlike some of the bouncers I've encountered in the past, but for the most part, like 80% of them are cool now. I've seen Chee @ my gym (24 Hour Fitness - Sherman Oaks) and he's a really cool, down-to-earth, light hearted guy.

Good drinks specials and relatively cheap drinks.

****also there's fun event's like "LITTLE ROCK IDOL" (American Idol contest) and Kareokee, which is always fun.

    --------------
    THE BAD
    --------------

Sometimes the line outside is unreal. I understand the guy-to-girl ratio but it's crazy that "a bar" has a line sometimes 30-40 people long outside. It's good for them, but sucks if you're in line.

The mens bathroom is a warzone, literally. It's usually pretty much a nightmare, it would be nice if they had someone go in every hour or two and tidy it up some at night. It can be disgusting.

Do not have the bartenders make you a drink if they say they don't know how to make it. Usually they know how to make a liquid cocaine but twice now 2 of the bartenders had no clue, looked it up and it came out bad. Also I've asked for recommendations for girls a few times (what's a good Tequila or Whiskey mixed drink for a girl) ...and there concoctions have been terrrrrrrrible.

    ----------------
    THE UGLY
    ----------------

    Not too much ugly here.

It used to be pretty bad here with fights, wanna-be gangsta's, thugs, cholos etc, but for the most part they've really cleant it up. Still on ocassion someone will do something stupid drunk and the police will roll up but it's once in a blue moon now.

Oh yeah, there's waaaaay too many regulars here. Like EVERYTIME you go, you see some of the same people. Cmon now, diversify.

THERE'S NO BEER PONG AT ALL. It'd be sooo easy for them to add in a few beer pong tables and sell pitchers.

    --------------------------
    FINAL THOUGHTS
    --------------------------

I really like this place. It is what it is, a nice spot to get some cheap drinks, dance and hang out. It's local (I used to live across the street) and if you've got nothing going on, go on down. The staff is pretty chill from Nada, Chee to most of the bouncers, bartenders and DJ's. BRING IN BEER PONG.

Got to the door.... Got ID checked... Paid $5 per person.... Got in.... Toooo crowded ... it was completely packed... you couldn't walk without saying excuse me, excuse me... MOOOOVEEEEE!!!!!  seemed like a weird crowd... Went to the bathroom... There was no lock so they put  a trash can holding the door so it would close.

Walked out.......  Overall stayed in there for 4 min... (girls bathroom had a line)
No drink, No dancing... just paid $5 to use the bathroom! hahah
Didn't get to experience the 4 and 5 star reviews...... Maybe Will give it another shot...

This place has the potential to be an awesome bar... unfortunately that's immediately overshadowed by the unsavory crowd that frequents this establishment (myself excluded of course ha). To begin there is a cover at the door, which I would say is usually reserved for venues that are worth it--this not being the case. The bar layout is a two room setup with a dance floor on one side and a bar area, with limited seating options, on the other. The bartenders are all real friendly and pour a good drink, which are reasonably priced; the specials they had on the Saturday night we went were actually good ($3+ pints of beer, $4 vodka Red Bulls, etc.). We arrived around 11:30 and stayed till closing time, but I'll avoid that next time as it's a madhouse once the lights come on. The other customers are all, with perhaps a few exceptions, dirtbags who shove their way around the bar* causing drinks to be spilled repeatedly. I have to admit that the security staff, however, was extremely 'graceful' in this respect. Lastly the bathroom situation is unfortunate, as there was constantly a line for the men's room (really?), but I suppose this really isn't the bar's fault. I'm still torn as to whether I'll be returning here or not.

*I'm no stranger to the difficulties associated with maneuvering a crowded bar, but this was ridiculous.

This place get crowded, good music and they serve food too but did not have food but the food looked good, a lot of Girls who are so tricky if you are not careful, very loud and $ 5 entrance which is really cheap compared to other spots i usually go to where you pay $ 20. Anyway I had fun and it was my first time. You can check it out and judge by yourself.

Super chill place with a chill crowd, good DJ, and great bar. Iv'e never experienced any drama here, never. The security keeps shit on lock and everyone who goes here is fully grown and mature. The best part, drinks are on the cheap. I got a couple of vodka red bulls, plus some other vodka drinks and the grand total for everything was $14 bucks not including tip...doesnt get better than that. Great place to come get drinks and dance... the DJ always has the latest music with a good mix of the old stuff.

This place is absolute TRASH!!! The scum of the valleys place of gathering!! They charge a cover at the door to enter a bar and have you wait in line as if its a high end club in Hollywood. Beer is fairly priced, but the DJ is stuck in the early 2000's. place needs a complete over haul.

Basically come here when me and my gfs don't feel like dressing up. Not the place to go if you wna be cute check out attractive guys/girls but cool to hang out. Strong drinks so-so service. Nice door man. Interesting when there is karaoke night... picture everyone dancing having a good time taking shots and what not... then they cut off the music so some buzzed guy can sing a classic usher song off key (lol) actually its kind of entertaining. You can use that moment to take a break go play darts, pool, visit the bar or  get some air outside area.

SO, I have been driving past this place on my way to work for months now and thought I'd check it out with a few friends.

Parking is scarce and we were tentative about parking in the Gelson's parking lot across the street. Decided to park on Ventura at a meter east of Reseda.

We walk to the door and our IDs are run through a scanner. Then we get a wristband and a pat-down/purse check before we can go inside.

Once we found a table, fairly easy (around 11), we ordered drinks. You have to go to the bar to do this but we didn't mind. $10 minimum with card, apparently they are big on open tabs. When the bartender gave me my drink, I made sure to communicate with her that I will be the only person ordering drinks on this tab. ME ONLY. She seemed to understand and I only ordered drinks from her the whole evening. Drinks were strong and fair priced. You may need to flag someone down though, the bar gets crowded and they may not initially recognize a new face.

Friends and I came for the karaoke, which got good reviews on yelp. I will give it a 3 out of 5. The song selection was great, huge book. However the DJ played regular songs in between every singer and it took up a gross amount of time. Also, this place does karaoke for the average singer and plays the artist's vocal track along with whomever is singing. THIS BUGGED THE CRAP OUT OF ME! Lots of people think they are good singers and may very well not be, but my friends and I are professional singers. We go to karaoke to rock the house, let loose and have fun doing it; so frankly we did not appreciate the "handicap".

Also we ordered food, Mexican Combo. Yummy and came out relatively fast. Glad that was all we ordered tho, I could eat the Jalapeno Poppers all night!

The bouncer freaked at us when we tried to go out the front to smoke, so fyi there is a smoking patio in the back past the bathrooms. SUPER SPECIAL EXTRA NOTE: we put coasters over the beers on our table when we all went outside to smoke and, miraculously, when we came back in no one had taken our table! There was a guy standing near it like he was checking out the situation, but he was very pleasant when we told him it was ours.

At the end of the night we closed out our tabs. Mine went smooth as butter but my boyfriend had an extra $65 on his bill. Apparently some guy slid in right after he turned away from the bar and ordered whatever he wanted because "he was with that guy". The waitress took off the charge, but I was sorry that someone would waste her time and ours because he is a cheap jerk.

Bottom line: hold on to your purse, pay cash, sing a karaoke song that the whole room will get down to and take a taxi home. :)

(oh and ladies, please don't puke in the bathroom sink. it's trashy and all the rest of us have to wait until the cleaning guy leaves the restroom before we can go back in) (15 minute wait)

This place is great if you're into the metal mulisha, you drink rockstar energy drinks, are a meth user, ex- meth user, wannabe prison boy, aging hair metal groupie, or like watching MMA. Definitely recommended if you have ever listened to Eminem.  If this is your bag, cruise out on a friday or saturday night!!!!

This place is great for burnout high school reunions

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, I went there for the first time last night on a Weds and I had a really good time. The drink specials on Weds are unbelievable. I got THREE Jack & Cokes and a Vodka Cranberry, which were very generously poured, the bill came to $19. I'm like "Wait a second..." Didn't eat anything but it looked damn good, had some wicked drink specials too, kiiiid. (In a Boston accent)

I had no issues with security, they were fine to me. Friendliest bar atmosphere I've seen in years, Ive never had more people just introduce themselves & start chatting. I felt like I was in fuckin' Canada! For a Weds night there certainly was a good handful of decent looking broads. They had karaoke and everyone was having a good time, some of the people were hysterical. It was a chill little place, nice vibe in there. Could be a whole 'nother story on the weekends or something, but I really dug Little Rock for my first visit.

Okay I saw it all the night i went. Very diverse in terms of crowd from your extremely older people to your young (ghetto) crew.

place is broken into two sections one is a bar area with a seating and the the other half is a dance floor with some seating as well.

overall very crowded place and seems like business is doing well but to there is no theme to this place is just anyone can walk in and no dress code whats so ever. If you 21yrs of age and have some clothing on your good to go!

Also to add a Security guy at the door black male with accent was wearing a suit and not the security gear. Kicked my friend out for "missing his step." friend explain had knee surgery not to long ago and do to crowdedness that he mistepped... but guy didnt want to bother to listen. I understand his job role for safety and what not but friend didnt even drink any alcohol.  First and last.

Ok..so I went to this place for the first time as my road dawg was tired  of hanging out at my usually 2 places and wanted to see more EYE CANDY... catch my drift...

Got there on a Thursday and got in the 2 person line... they checked our ID's and before we got in I noticed about towing for cars parked in the wrong lot... so being paranoid.. I decided to get out of line and move my car (better safe and wait extra then a $200 bill at the tow yard)...

luckily no one was in line Security guard remembered us and waved us thru..

paid the $5 cover... got searched ...its all good I'm ok with a search for safety reasons...

bar was packed and we a few peeps behind... one of the female bartenders waved us over (actually not us but her regular friends, but hey i played it off and order)

She was quick and got our drinks, over all 6 drinks for $36 is not bad, avg of $6 bucks.. ill take that...

Dance hall was packed with hip/hop rap music and the girls were getting all hot and sweaty.....

Lot of security ( I counted  2 at door, 1 by bathroom, 1 by entrance to dance floor, 1 by DJ, and 1 by entrance to patio) so 6 that I saw and prob 2 more that I saw with earpiece's.... They were cool and to the point as all you can expect....

Food looked like it was being served until we left for my regular spot at 1am...

Overall the play was coll and I will be coming back... Lot of booty in the house, but still the female to male was ok...with men having the slight edge in numbers.

EYE candy was good.....will def be back...

Came here on a Thursday at around 11. It was packed!! PACKED cuz it's so tiny. How tiny? Well, let's just say now I feel I can invite 30 people over to dance in my living room.

    $5 cover. (at 11.think it's free before a certain time.not sure)
Wait forever to order a drink.
Drink(Adios) was pretty strong. My gf got buzzed.
No strict dress code, it seemed. Although most girls are dressed up.
Park across the street.Gelson's.no problems at all. lot's packed with clubber cars.

Hip pop & rap all night.  if that's your thing you'd love this place.

    Mostly black crowd.

This place could be fun for some, but not for me. =(

Besides the great bartenders and drink specials, the food here is so yummy! There is a pool table that is a lot of fun with all types of players from newbies to pros. The dance floor is always full and there are a variety of DJs that come by on different nights. Sundays have my favorite DJ. and on Fridays and Tuesday nights, which is ladies night, there is karaoke.

There are two patios to go outside and get some air or smoke if you'd like as they won't let guests go in and out of the club without having to stand in line again. The ladies room is always clean, a plus too, in my book and troublemakers won't last long here as security is alert and protective of the guests.

It's a good place to hang out if you're stuck in the Valley :)

Had a visit to this place on St. Paddys day...

First thing, I had to wait in a line (wasn't very long, maybe five people in front of me), yet I had to wait for fifteen minutes?? Once inside, definitely not worth standing in line, the bar was definitely not at capacity.

Once in the outside patio we need to keep our voices down??

Security guards thinking they're cops... and EVERYWHERE!?

    No ins and outs??

This is a bar in Reseda, not Hollywood! I'm seriously having a hard time understanding why anyone with common sense would wait in line to get into this place and then be searched. Not to mention pay to get in this place?

They get one star for having moderately priced drinks.

I have been here several times over the past 5 years.  I never really go here, and am pretty tolerant of the crowd. I only went because my friend wanted to check it out. I thought it might have changed since the 2+ years I was there last.

I went last night with a group, it looked good because there was a line outside.  Should have left, but instead waited.  After waiting forever, the guy door practically stripped searched us, went through our friends purses... embarrassing.. Once inside there was hardly anyone there... no need for us to stand in line.  They are just trying to look like people are actually wanting to go in. The drinks were terrible, and the place was mostly dudes, fights were breaking out and it was really getto.  The bouncer was seemly having fun macing the crowd... messed up!!  The place hasn't changed, it has always been seedy...  We left after only 1/2 hour.  Went to Fridays instead and had a great time!  Nicer crowd and way more fun!

Garbage... Ghetto, hood, fights breaking out... If you want to get an STD this is the place

YES! A really cool bar, WALKING distance from where I live! PERFECT!

I'd always seen this place, driving up and down Reseda Blvd., but I'd never stepped foot into the spot, till last Saturday.

Me and a friend decided to stop in for a drink, the place was bumping! Busy, but not super packed to the point where you couldn't walk around without bumping into everyone.

There's a main bar area to the left, with some loungy sofas, and a stage with a dance floor to the right. I liked the decor.

We chilled at the bar for the most part. The bartenders are cool, very fast and they constantly check up on you, making sure your drinks are full.

The crowd is very eclectic, probably the most mixed group of people I've seen in a bar/club in a long time. It was refreshing.

I liked this place a lot, I like it even more, because it's walking distance from where I live. Perfect! This'll be my new hangout!

Not liking the new decor of the Rock.

The divey feel of the place is almost gone and that saddens this Yelper.  Its kinda like the girl you meet and date and everything is going well for a few months and all of a sudden she turns into someone who you don't want to know anymore.  Been there done that.  I should have asked her if I forced the change.......

My opinion of this place stays at 5 red stars because of the bartending of the hot Michelle and the perky and omnipresent Buttercheeks on Mondays.

After over 20 years of living in the valley, I decided it was about time that I drag my friends out past the 405 deep into the 818 for my first taste of the San Fernando night life.  I've driven by The Little Rock hundreds of times, but I have Yelp to thank for putting it on my radar.  I thank Yelp heartily.

The Little Rock is a neat dive right off Ventura on Reseda Blvd.  There's free parking out behind the Sharkey's next door.  The space is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it's put to good use.  The dance floor is partitioned from the bar room, which consists of a long bar, some low loungey seats against the opposite wall, a pool table towards the back, and two dart machines by the entrance.  The place was bustling, but not overwhelming, and I never had trouble getting drinks.  Nothing but praise for the bartenders here.  Everywhere else in the world, bartenders seem trained to avoid eye contact in order to avoid taking orders.  The bartenders here do not pretend you don't exist while filling up other people's drinks, and they get to you as soon as they can.

Drinks are blessedly cheap.  A fiver gets you a stiff mixed drink, and drink specials are even cheaper.  I knocked back many a generously poured kazi shot for $3 a pop.

The food menu is a drunkie's dream - they've got wings, nachos, burgers, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, all the greasy food your uninhibited ass desires when you forget you have "arteries" to take care of.  We tried some average fries and some bomb jalapeno poppers.

The dart machines are fun and we didn't have to wait to play.  We did, however, require some assistance in figuring out how to work the damn things.  We got this assistance from a very friendly man in a beret.  We never figured out whether he worked for the bar, but he was awesome either way.

The crowd was pretty diverse, and on average a few years older than what you see in Hollywood.  The atmosphere is lively and decidedly free of douche pollution.  I did think it was strange that our group accounted for the entire Asian population.  Do Asians not go out in the valley?

They should.  The Little Rock is a sweet spot for a chill night of happy drunken revelry.  Plus they have karaoke.  I will be back.

I didn't come here to drink.  I came to sing.

I came to sing until my throat collapsed and I spit blood.  I sang a couple operatics, several popular Korean tunes, and all 14 minutes of Rapper's Delight while break dancing with a ten minute windmill.  It was perfect.  There were throngs of women lining the stage tossing panties and roses, and panties made of roses which confused me because I didn't know if I was intended to sniff those.  I felt like a king.  One of those singing and dancing kings.

Aw, who am I kidding?  I sing and dance as well as a gasping fish thrashing out of water.  Fifteen years of drinking and smoking have left my body and lungs as weak as I am impotent.  Err, important.  Yeah, that's it.

Anyway, none of that matters here Monday nights.  If singing isn't your thing, you can lounge and watch your friends make you feel inadequate with their excellent singing.  If you don't like feeling inadequate, you can go play pool for free and let the owner embarrass you on the pool table.

If you're like me, you can pretend it's morning and get drunk off excellent drink specials and forget how inadequate and embarrassing you are.  I mean impotent.  I mean important.

We got the BBQ Bacon Burger to share and it was HUGE!!!  It must've been a pound of beef.  And it was cooked perfect!

He makes great fries too!  The Smothered Fries are a heart attack waiting to happen but just eat salad for the next two days and it all balances out! Right?!

I love this place on Mondays. Since it's a Monday, it's not as packed which makes the place more chill and fun. They just started Karaoke on Mondays, which opened up even more room at the bar and almost makes it like a private karaoke party for you and your friends.

Not to mention $3 Jager shots and $5 Patron shots.....
Mondays are starting to look a bit better. :D

I have apologized to Nada P before how much I would have liked to have gone to her bar but it's just too far.

Last Thursday, after the elite event, I found myself in the heart of the Valley and ready to go home.  But the Valley yelpers made sure I stopped by the Little Rock first for some "bar food."

Wow!  This bar food is great!  I ordered the bacon hot dog which there actually two of and came with a huge platter of fresh-from-the-fryer fries-- $9. I was talking a while with the cook (who's very nice).  He asked me if I was a yelper to which I was surprised by.  I asked him how he could tell and he just shook his head.  Hopefully, that was a good thing?

I only ate one of the hot dogs but it was covered with pieces of bacon (rather than bacon wrapped) and I thought it was genius because I could taste the smokiness of each piece individually.  The cook teased me about my preference for no mayo and no ketchup.  He said it wasn't a real hot dog then.  Well, I don't love either so none for me, thanks.

Alas, Nada wasn't there the night I went but I still had a great time because it just seemed like the party had moved spots.  Everyone at the elite event was there having a good time as this "after-party" spot.

I circled a bit for parking but I hear tell you can park across the street at the grocery store if things get difficult.

The bar is huge and quite comfy.  Reminds me of a punk girl's wardrobe with lots of red and leopard print.

The restrooms are clean and there wasn't a line (bonus!).

Overall, if I find myself in the valley again, you bet I'll check out Little Rock again!

Oh, so here is where the non lame Valley kids hang out. It only took me 23 years to find, but now even I can enjoy an evening in the Valley without needing to bust out the snarky, sardonic wit to keep myself entertained.

I came here the first time after the Auto Gallery elite event and enjoyed the soft leopard print seating, ample space and looking at all the stickers and unusual alcohols behind the bar. Since I was already tipsy from the event though, I didn't partake in any drinking and just got a cursory look at the Little Rock. But I saw that it was promising. And in the Valley anywhere that's at all promising is a Godsend.

So last night I came back. Hurrah for the Little Rock! Still no Nada, boooooooo, but both bartenders that served me were helpful and made strong drinks. At $5 a pop I was certainly pleased. My Tom Collins wasn't too sweet and came with both a lime and a cherry. Clearly it doesn't take all that much to make me happy but that doesn't mean everyone makes the effort. I appreciated that these gals did. Music was hip hop, which I don't love, but it was old school stuff so I wasn't annoyed.

Overall I am glad to have finally found a place to hang out in close to home that isn't a beer bar or a lounge at the mall. You have given me hope for my neighborhood Little Rock.

    For my 300th review....

    *ques up Queen Pen*

Yo, a party ain't a party 'till it's ran all through
And leave it to the Little Rock crew, it's gon' be playa' proof
After three rounds we gon' blow off this roof
A party ain't a party 'til it's ran all through

I had my birthday celebration here with Buttercheeks Maral and did we blow the roof off this place. Nada and her crew are always friendly, courteous and fun. The bouncer at the door is always cracking jokes and is more than willing to light your cigarette with his torch. The female bartenders aren't too bad on the eyes either ;). The drinks are poured liberally and it's always a good time here. The Little Rock has numerous options when you hang out here.

    - Feel like shooting some pool? Join some of the patrons.
    - Feel like lounging and watching parts of the game? Do so at the comfortable lounge couches with TVs around the bar area.
    - Feel like shooting darts? Done, it's in the front when you enter.
    - Feel like getting your buzz on? They have a wonderful selection of alcohol and is poured nicely.
    - Feel like shaking what your mama gave you? The karaoke area doubles as a dance floor and people are normally there getting their dance on
    - Get drunk enough to muster some courage to see if you can be the next American Idol? Do it in the separate karaoke room!

Nada ALWAYS, ALWAYS knows how to rock the party here. The staff is really friendly and the liquor flows liberally. I've only gone twice and twice I've had a blast. There is a good mix of people here, no one too pretentious to be hang out and have drinks. No one too 'hood to appreciate the atmosphere.

Nada, thank you and your staff for always showing us a wonderful time. I will be back, time and time again.

**On certain nights (I believe every 1st and 3rd Wednesday?) they have live DJs spinning hiphop. I need to make it out for one of those nights.**

P.S. Thanks to my Victoria Doll and Christopher for setting up the decorations! Also, this night, it was raining cats and dogs, much love and appreciation to those that drove through the madness (no matter how close or far) to celebrate with us!!

My last review of 2007 goes to The Little Rock.

This is, without a doubt, one of the coolest bars around.  This place has it all...large bar, dynamite bartenders, great drinks at good prices, tasty appetizers, cool crowd, lots of loungey seating, dance floor, stage, live entertainment, outstanding karaoke selection, pool table, darts, and who knows WTF else I forgot to mention!  Well, those who've been there know...

The owners of the Little Rock are the most friendly, welcoming, gracious, hospitable, and caring hosts you will ever meet.  They do everything they can to make you feel like one of the family, which is an extremely rare thing these days.  I was overwhelmed.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the Little Rock isn't closer to my house.  But then again, that's probably a good thing...I might never leave!

Who says a little rock can't rock hard?  Bravo!

    I LOVE THIS PLACE ! !

The layout of the place is cool...pool table in the back, fair amount of couches to sit n' chat, a nice long bar to sit n' bullshit, and a kick ass side room for either bands to play or hacks to sing along to karaoke.

The drinks are stiff and cheap too, but the best, and I mean, THE BEST part of this place...is the staff...friendly ! ! Nada is a sweet heart and she is your best friend, I swear ! ! We went recently to chill out and found out it was her birthday ! She had food off to the side, a free for all and I think some cake was passed around, I didn't get any but it looked good !

I know for sure, if I'm ever in the valley...Lil' rock is the place I'll drop by to drink some brews and sound off during their karaoke madness.

Oh, btw...the bartender with the fiery red hair is a cutie ! ! I asked for a Bud and she gave me a BUD SELECT !?!?!?

    WTH !!!!!!!!!

But she was sooo cute, I was like ok...hehe...But I did regulate the next time I ordered though ! haha... I love this place !

The Little Rock... rocked my socks.

friday nights are the worst nights for me to go out... i am drained from my school week and functioning on little to no sleep.  every friday, i tell myself i should go home and get some sleep.  but so far, every friday that doesn't happen.

why?  cuz i would rather spend my friday nights unwinding and having some drinks with good company.  miles away from home, i accomplished this with Little Rock.  such a cute place.  big, huge, potent drinks.  great company.  drunk karaoke.  awesome music.  shots being passed around.  appetizers on the house.  i was my usual happy, LOL'ing, tipsy self.  it was a great way to spend a friday night.  Little Rock definitely rocked my socks.

    Friday night, blah!
Must get out, break the monotony of TV
    What is TV?
    Can it truly see beauty?
    What does it matter?
I am bored with all this beauty
    Why am I here?
Why this endless ennui, this doubt and self loathing?
I'll break the chains that bind to the frame of the soulless window
If only for a Friday night
Despair not as this is Los Angeles
The city of ample diversity if one were only to open a curious eye
Eat, live, see, and live LA, passionately
    That is your purpose

So here I go. Blah, another bar. 'Keep an open mind Jim!' me thinks
Luckily being in Hollywood, it's an easy freeway jaunt, and The Little Rock is right off the freeway.

What, are you kidding me? Eureka! I have struck gold, and in the valley no less!!!

Easy area parking, bar is big, drinks are large and cheaper than any bar I can currently think of and psst... they are not watered down.

The Karaoke was far more fun than I'm used to. Screens everywhere and a no bullshit sound system, wow! Everyone was dancing and having a great time.

The Little Rock will see me again soon, no doubt!

This, my friends, IS a bar!!!
