Lobby Bar at the Doubletree Modesto

Had a great experience at this bar. The lady bartender was nice and friendly. The drinks were great and the bar food was great as well. Nothing negative to say. This bar made my stay at this hotel even better.

My Cosmos were very good. The seats were comfortable. The bartender was friendly, and I enjoyed the company of friends.

A small town touch added to the experience. I could hear the music coming from the room next door, people in interesting Halloween costumes were running in and out. All this excitement was a benefit for Roller Derby. Does Modesto have a team or to they want their own team? I did not know Roller Derby still was around!

Good hotel bar - plenty of comfortable seating & televisions. They offer a few good wines, but no vanilla vodka. The bartender, Lee, is my favorite. She's always friendly & quick with the service. The hotel cafe food menu is also available in the bar, but for no apparent reason, they charge a dollar or so more for the same items offered in the cafe.
