I went there today with a friend and they had an employee wandering around the dining room asking people if they wanted refills or to take their tray. I'm not sure what the point of this was. This employee interrupted us twice in about 15 minutes. I'm sure she's forced to this obviously unhelpful task by management but I'm not sure why. Maybe they want people to be in and out, or maybe they want to seem like they have excellent customer service. Some managers are really dumb and have no concept of appropriate levels of customer service.
I also know there are some customers there who used to be rich before last year but now they're broke and go here and have no idea what it's like to work a service job and treat this employee like garbage for being in the way. That part made me depressed.
