I am warning you now- Do not eat here unless you are willing to never go to Taco Bell, Taco Johns, or any other "taco place" for the rest of your life.
The authentic Mexican tacos here are simple, yet amazing.  You get your choice of  meats, of which I have only tried two, carnitas and asada, both good, but I stick with the Carnitas.  Yep, I am boring when it comes to trying new meats...They do have lengua for those of you who enjoy tongue ( I hear its delicious but I won't be trying it any time soon),  along with about 15 other choices. Tacos are served with cilantro, radishes, and limes just like they are supposed to be!
Other items we have tried include the huarachazo, which is one of my favorites if I am not getting tacos. Â Ci gets a Carnitas huarachazo every single time!
Everything here is amazing except the salsa. The salsa tastes like tomato sauce. Â Its not spicy at all. Â We always ask for the light green hot salsa to go along with it. Â Do it..Just ask for it from the start because you will not like the tasteless, boring salsa.
What more can I say that has not already been said.
I love this place!! Â Its open until 2 AM for us night owls and its Super Cheap too.
Tacos are only $1.99! Â This place will make your tummy and your wallet happy!
A favorite place, couple times a month. Great Mex food, including many items i dont care to try.  Patio with music on weekends. Always busy, but never have had to wait. Was a bakers sq so has a nice sunny room with booths. Recommend the sizzling fajitas, happy hr drink specials. The dreamboat who takes me out to eat always opts for here, always gets the los ocompo  burrito -  but he is obviously not too adventurous with food.  Always had good servers.
Review Source:I love this place. Great tacos, ice cold beers, excellent service. There's nothing else in this neighborhood even close, and it's promising that this local business is growing into spots previously held by terrible chain Mexican restaurants.
The tacos were my go to as they are basically wraps for their wide selection of very good meats and excellent hot sauces, but then I tried the Sincronizadas, which are basically quesadillas filled with the delicious meat of your choice and served with guacamole and salsa. Now I get one of those and a pair of tacos, usually not finishing all of it. The sincronizada keeps and reheats well, though! It pleases my wife and her more midwestern tastes and keeps my kid happy, too: she only wants refried beans and a side of cheese (and guacamole). The servers have always been great, even serving a little stinker kid.
I hope they open more St. Paul locations. Ice cold beers and tacos are the perfect happy hour.
