I went to Lucky's the other night for a friend's birthday party. Â Despite the not-so-hot stand up comedy event that was happening, Lucky's was an A-OK place to spend a couple of hours. Â Drinks seemed reasonably priced, and the bar is big enough for people to spread out and enjoy some conversation. Â Word of caution though: lots of the seating options appeared to be booths or stationary tables, so this may not be the ideal place for a large group -- we had about 8-10 people and were pretty cozy.
Biggest kudos go to the staff. Â My group was short a chair, and someone (perhaps a manager) noticed me looking around for an available one to borrow. Â He asked how he could help and immediately got a staff member to locate and bring one over to our table. Â Likewise, the bartenders were equally friendly despite the busy crowd. Â Nice people, nice place.
We stopped by this bar in search of a fun time when we were in the area. Â The place is actually pretty cool. Â Plenty of space, new flat screen TV's everywhere, darts, pool, and other bar arcade style games. Â The bartender was helpful & friendly. Â They have drink specials every night, and the prices are cheap. Â
Unfortunately we only stayed for one round. Â The place was very empty and quiet.
