Overpriced, eeky food!

Came to catch a game and grab some food. Started with the Arugula salad $12 pricey but at least the taste was decent. Then ordered 3 tacos $4 each, was disgusting. Carne asada - meat was super fatty and chewy, mahi fish - over cooked and super dry, chicken - soggy and the shell fell apart. Cheese were the over processed shredded type from the grocery store. Blah.
I was craving sweets, so we ordered the chocolate cake for a whooping $7, got a thin lil slice, that was dry, hard, cold and the icing tasted like stale powdered sugar. GAG!

Service was very pleasant, but there's no way I'm coming back to eat again!

Stopped in for a beer and possibly lunch on 4th of July as we were walking by and I have to say the menu underwhelmed me, so we passed on food and just had a pint.  they have a pretty decent beer selection, both on tap and in bottles.  The place has a decent vibe, they have lots of TVs and the staff was friendly when we were there.

The one thing I didn't care for was I don't think you should have society garlic growing right outside of the doors and windows of a restaurant... STINKY!  they need to tear that out if they are going to keep their doors open, which was wonderful on a warm and breezy day!

Overall, I would give Lumberyard another try if I was int he area.  Nice place.

Been here several times.  Sometimes the food is good, tonight not so much.  I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was probably frozen and definitely over-cooked.  The sauce had very little flavor. The rice pilaf was okay.  The zucchini was bitter. My son ordered the pizza and it was quite good.  Our dessert average.  Unfortunately they changed the house Chardonnay and it's not nearly as good as it was before.  
On a happier note, Sarah was our server and she was friendly, professional, informative, and efficient. 5 star server for sure.
BTW it was dead for a summer Saturday night.  I hope they improve things as it has a lot going for it, just needs to improve on the food.
