This is a decent lunch spot in the land of zero food options. Â I commute to the neighborhood for work each day and usually eat a sandwich in my car.
I have been here many times and the service has always been accommodating even if there is the occasional language barrier. The decor is pretty dated but it is comfortable enough for a 25 minute visit.
The food is very cheap in price and quite tasty. I can say with certainty that it is not 5 star dining but sure beats the Subway at Walmart (Which is similar to people watching at the carnival).
My biggest complaint is the rude customers who smoke inside as it fills the entire place and my clothes now smell for the rest of the day. Guess this is one of the benefits of living in Illinois.
