"Meh. I've experienced better."
You can't put it any better Yelp.
So for some reason, the buffet wasn't happening. I decided to order a gyro with fries and a drink - $8.55. The gyro really wasn't that good. In comparison to all the gyro's I've had, it was the worst--not bad, but definitely not the taste I associate with a delicious gyro. There was not very much meat--too much lettuce. The fries were pretty good though.
It just seemed a bit pricey given the amount of meat in the gyro. The inside of the restaurant is a little too eclectic for my tastes. The waitstaff was a little on the unprofessional side--a little too lax for me.
In the end, the experience wasn't great. Meh. I don't expect to go back because they didn't give me a reason to come back.
I find myself craving certain dishes from this very authentic little family run restaurant, I eat mostly vegetarian and find the bolani and Afghan spinach/rice is excellent. In addition to the authentic cuisine the owner is always full of smiles and free desserts! Truly a must try in B-town.
