The best breakfast sandwich you will ever eat is made at this deli.

Ugh! I really had high hopes for this deli.
Got there Prosciutto and the slices were so thick it was really hard to bite.
They should really know how to cut the prosciutto.

Really good subs, i had the Godfather sub and will be back. Old school deli in the heart of Malverne, I put this in the GPS as a must go for lunch subs and the food is excellent.  Big subs, in this small home style deli.  Definitely coming back!

The food is pretty decent, however the service is terrible.  They do not know how to cut cold cuts at all.  You tell them slice it thin and it couldn't be any thicker.  If you ask for 1/2 pound of something they will give you more 9 times out of 10.  They try to get every cent out of you, so just for that reason I try to avoid this place unless I need something in a pinch.

Love this place! We recently moved to Malverne and one of the things I worried about was missing our awesome deli's.  The food is delicious and the staff (Michelle) is wonderful! The 1/2 & 1/2's are the best thing I've ever drank.  Paul is helping us with a catering order now & has been so attentive to what we want. They are also opened late offering delicious dinners and soups to pick up on your way home.

Picked up some breakfast sandwiches there this past weekend.  WOW! I could easily eat all 3 meals from here everyday :)

Conveniently located next to the amazing Malverne Bakery, this deli has great food but more importantly, really great customer service.

What is it about friendly people that make food taste better? Must be the Good energy!

    So far:
    eggplant parmesan sandwich - great.
Lunch entree plate with lemon battered flounder, mash, mac and cheese- impressive

By far one of the best delis I've ever been to.

The minute you walk in you're greeted by a plethora of delicious aromas from their nearly endless selection of sandwiches, cold dishes, and entrees.

The service here is superb.  The employees here are friendly, efficient, and accommodating.  They really know how to make you feel at home here.

For sandwiches, I've had the Malvern Special (roast beef, melted mozzarella, and bacon on toasted garlic bread), Colonel's Rival (chicken cutlet, melted american, russian dressing, lettuce & tomato), Love at First Bite (roast beef, turkey, melted swiss, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar), and Who's Afraid of Virginia Ham (ham, melted american, lettuce & tomato).  All the sandwiches are delicious but I always find myself returning to the Malvern Special.  I've tried recreating the sandwich at home but I can never seem to get it right.

The cold dishes offered here are delicious as well.  I highly recommend any of the pasta dishes they have, especially the Malvern Pasta (penne, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, black olives).

Although the choices here may seem pricey at first, you really get what you pay for. You get about a pound of meat in all of the sandwiches.

Definitely stop by if you're in the area.  You won't regret it.

Pretty good deli. I grew up around here, so I spent many a year going to this deli and here are a few pros and cons:

Pros: Very good sandwiches. They always have 1 or 2 more people working the counter than probably need to, so theres never a wait, in fact you normally will get asked probably too many times if you are ready to order when looking at the menu. Local joint.

Cons: A bit pricy, but that seems to have dissipated a tiny bit as prices all around have gone up. But you can expect to pay closer to the high end (whatever that means) for a hero.

My husband introduced me to this little gem when we first started dating almost 8 years ago, as its in the town he grew up in.

And it has quickly become my favorite deli ever!!!

The service is great, even when it gets packed for the lunch-time rush.  They're very accommodating and friendly, and they know their regular customers well.

Our favorite sandwiches have to be the "Malverne Special" (roast beef, melted mozzarella cheese and bacon on a garlic hero) and the "Chicken Delight" (chicken cutlet, melted mozzarella, bacon, lettuce, tomato and italian dressing on a roll).  And their macaroni salad is just perfect.

You can't go wrong with this place!

My boyfriend and I always used to share the "Love at First Bite" sandwich, not because we're the sentimental type but because you can't beat juicy roast beef, thinly sliced turkey breast, melted swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and copious amounts of oil and vinegar generously packed into a soft hero. The sides are more than competent -- in particular, I like their egg salad and the mac&cheese.

Service is friendly, which helps because it's on the pricier side. But absolutely worth it -- best deli in the area, hands down.
