Busy loop diner with ediable food and harried service. After spending $39 on lunch for two with a tip, I am reminded why people who work downtown are best off bringing a sack lunch.
I had a very uninspiring patty melt and my guest had a roast beef dip sandwich. Soup came with both our meals, but the waitress brought the soups after we were half way through our meals. A soup dessert? After one taste of the soup, a lentil bean wall paper paste creation, me thinks they should just skip the soup forever and always.
Maxim's maximed out my lunch budget in a flavorless and tedious way. Find another place for lunch in the loop or BYOL and eat @ your desk!
I have been here twice. The first time was for fish and chips after getting ashes at St. Peters. It was pretty standard as far as fish and chips goes. The second time I came with a friend and got a corn beef/roast beef sandwich on rye with cream of potato soup. The sandwich sucked, It didn't have much flavor and was not very appetizing. My friend had a burger and said it wasn't good. I will not be going back...
