It was my first time at Bobbys this past Saturday. Â It wasn't bad on the inside. Â The stage setup was good and it sounded awesome in there while the bands were playing. Â Kudos to the sound guy. Â I didn't have any food but the people I was with said the Philly Cheese steak was awesome. No problems with the staff I dealt with and some of the bouncers were cool as hell. Â $3 for a bud light is just OK but not bad. Â My biggest problem with this place were the type of people in there. Â They were juiced up, affliction wearing, wannabe jersey shore polish people. Â So much testosterone floating around that place. Â From getting shoulder checked, to having juice heads walking up and flexing their muscles in everyones faces and then challenging random people to arm wrestling matches. Â Fights were bound to break out and they did. Â I may go back there again if my friends bands play there again but other than that probably not until they get a different type of crowd in there,
Review Source:This place has gone from OK, to just plain stupidly horrific.
First of all, you can't tell from the people who work there from the people who are patrons in the place. Except for the couple of overweight guys walking around with microphones screaming who knows what, because they either don't know how to use a mic or the PA system is outdated.
As for food... not possible on a Friday night... Â There were a couple beer tubs open, but they are not even paying attention to people walking by. I honestly don't know what she was staring at... just looking off into space. (Ditz)
The place is way too overcrowded and there are people climbing the fences in the outdoor patio to avoid the huge $5 cover (Sarcasm). Actually, I can't believe I paid for this dump but who knows...
They do have a little VIP or cigar room, whatever it is... It doesn't fit... Â Ya want to save $5 and your time, just go down to Hooters... at least there is some class there and you don't get run into by fat guys with microphones... Â and you can easily get a drink...
This place would be so much better if they fixed their bathrooms, had better food, and added a few waitresses on Mondays. I went there over the weekend to see my friend's band play and I have to say its not a bad little venue. They have a nice size stage and a dance floor, plus theres a little room off to the side  that has a speperate bar and DJ. The main thing that really disgusted me were their bathrooms, There was literally sewage water coming up from the drain in the ground, Heres the kicker though, when I told the bartender that there was sewage water comming up from the lad'y's bathroom floor, he coldly answered, "It's not my problem, what do you want me to do about it?" I couldn' believe his attitutde. I wish he could have at least lied and said he would look into it, but no he did nothing, The only other thing is on Mondays everything is half price, I mean everything. Thats a awesome deal, I really didn't want to go because of the bathroom incident but my  boyfriend assured me it would be worth it. Just to name a few things that pissed me off; theres only one waitress, yeah one waitress and there were over 20 tables!! Second, well I guess you know where Im going with this, the service was so slow and I didn't want to blame the only waiteress cause its not her fault but OMG, not to mention the food was terrible, nachos cold, hot wings tasted funky. I will only go back if a friend's band is playing and hopefully I wont have to use the bathroom too often.
