Went here last night, this place has really gone down hill. Â It has never been good for me but a lot of people I know have enjoyed it. Â Went with a party of four last night. Â The service is just ok, we had to flag down the waiter to get more water. Â I can't speak for all at our table other than no one was really impressed, however, I had salad and a Chimichanga dinner. Â The salad was lettuce, that was it. Â No onions, tomato, nothing. Â Looked like it had come out of a bag from the store, and the dressing tasted like ranch you buy at the store..terrible. Â The Chimichanga was a major let down. Â For the dinner, you get a Chimichange, lettuce and guacomole and sour cream, no beans rice etc. Â The Chimichanga was horrible. Â Inside it had ground beef, and I think after sifting out the pound of salty untasteful ground beef I found two tiny pieces of onion, that was it inside, nothing else. Â Needless to say, I ate some of the outside and that was about it. Â Won't be going there again.
Review Source:Very UNIMPRESSIVE! I ordered a simple shredded beef chimichanga. It came ala carte so I have no idea how the rice and beans are. BUT the beef was completely flavorless! Thank God for hot sauce or I may have died of boredom! If you like your Mexican food plain and flavorless this is your new favorite restaurant!
Review Source:I have to disagree. The food is really good and plentiful, I don't think $11.99 for a giant Chimichanga is overpriced! Â The Margaritas are great. I can taste actual tequila in it! Salsa is very flavorful. I have never had bad service here and have eaten here quite a bit. Today was Chorizo Nachos and margaritas and wonderful as always!
Review Source:This place used to be so much better years ago. For the three visits in the past year the prices have gone way up and the food quality is on par or below Taco bell.
The last visit it appeared the manager was waiting our table. Had the worst service I have ever experienced. Â Three tries is enough, no more visits to this place!
I don't care for the one in Reno who knows why we stopped here. Guess thought maybe I would be suprised with better service. No luck.
Our waiter seemed to forget us sitting in the corner. My mom asked for some more chips and my sister asked for another drink. Both were ignored and forgotten. Finally a bus boy stopped by to see how we were doing.
Our food was ok. We all agreed we had better. It was worth a try in another city, I guess.
It is very true you won't starve here. Â It has been many years since i stopped by the place. Â The trademark salsa that comes with the chips is still tasty but the food is very sauce heavy. Â The quesadillas are over stuffed with salsa and the chile relleno is drowned in a cheesy soup. Â I only had a beer, so I can't comment on the marg's but the food is pretty bland 'tex-mex' that rests heavy on the stomach and also on the pocketbook. Â There are better options for quality and price.
